Reception

Later, when Mayra got back at my room , kaithi followed her in.

"What are you trying to do there?" she asked her.

Mayra replied at that, "I should be the one asking you this question. What are you doing here, in my in-laws house so early in the morning and especially with my mother-in-law?"

Kaithi turned to her with a smirk on her face,

"Jealous! Are we?"

"Actually I don't intend to come here, when I can be in my room having my beauty sleep. But what can I do when your mother-in-law called and invited me. Don't you think that's a bit of shameful for you, when it should be you to get all their attention."

Mayra hesitated, "It's not like that. She is just trying to be humble."

"Mayra O Mayra! you are really stupid" Kaithi laughed at that. "She clearly dislike you and from morning drama, you even can't recognise that. What a fool you are!"

"Oh! these things apart , I forgot to tell you , your mother-in-law organized a reception party to welcome you in their family. But I am thinking they are trying to flaunt their relationship with our company. What do you think?"

With that Kaithi walked out of the room saying, "Have a good rest , dear sister. Because it will be exhausting event for you."

Mayra sit on the bed with a thud thinking, " Was Kaithi's words trustworthy? Should I escape from here?"

"But there is no one in the world whom I know and I don't possess any skills that I can use to feed myself. It's so frustrating. What should I do?"

In the afternoon, a maid knocked on her door.

"Mistress, madam send a dress for you"

"Okay, put it on the bed, I will check it later"

"Yes, mistress"
