Hidden truth

I, Mayra, married in the Dawson's family last year. Since it is an arranged marriage fixed by George's mother because of my family's wealth, little did they know it has nothing to do with me because it all belonged to my step- sister and step-brother. When I was ten years old, my father passed away and my mother married again after only six months of his death. She took me at her new home after her wedding and after reaching there I got the biggest shock of life. I saw there are two children one girl and one boy having the age of twelve and eight, respectively. They had identical looks as my mother. Since I was young, I don't understand what is going on. But later on I got to know the whole truth. My mother married my father for his wealth. She had one daughter before marriage with my now step-father which she kept hidden from my father. And moreover, she kept having affair with that guy after her marriage also and give birth to his son when my father is away for a year for the company's matter. I didn't know my mother is that kind of ruthless person. I thought she is a kind and loving mom as she had acted in front of my late father. But her true nature come out after his death. After her marriage to my step father, she only loved my step brother and sister. I had been totally ignored by them. I had inherited my late father's wealth and company only in paper's as all the control lie in my step -father's hand. But they can't take them away because of my father's will which says when I turn twenty-three, I got the control of all the property and company. Till then the power of attorney lies in my mother's hand which she gave willing to her now husband. They truly tortured me by not giving food for a day or two, giving already worn out clothe,s to do household chores, by doing my brother and sister's homework and so on. When I turned eighteen, they planned to marry me off in a rich family so my in-laws would not demand any dowry from them and don't take company after I will turn twenty-three. This was all a powerful planning of them. And I know what are there agenda still I married to George. I thought after I will get married to him maybe I will get all the love and care which I missed all these years.
