Dawson's family

At the time of my marriage, I got really nervous at the thought of my to be new family. I heard from my step-Sister kaithi that they belong to the rich circle and have many connections with the powerful people of the country. Kaithi was very unhappy at the fact that I am going to marry in the Dawson's family which has higher prestige in the society than her own in-laws family. She threw random tantrums about how poor her in-laws are. Actually, they are not that poor but kaithi had a habit to buy bags and other things that costs a fortune. Of course, I got anxious after hearing how rich my to-be husband and his family was. I thought, "do I really need to marry in them" or "will I get mingled in their high society". Then I thought if I will try harder than maybe they will accept me for who I am. After thinking like that, I started to get ready. After about two hours, my mother called for me, " Oh dear! Are you not ready yet". When I heard her, I cringed at her sweet endearment. Then I realised that my to-be sister-in-law was there with her , then I saw through her act. For my reputation, I had to act like a nice daughter with them. I replied to them in a low voice, "Not yet, mother". When I saw my sister-in-law, she was of same age as me. But I looked much younger than her. She is a fair colored lady of approximate 5 feet height with burgundy colored hair. She was wearing a thigh slit dress with high heels. When I looked at her, she stared at me with cold eyes. I got shocked at her reaction and thought if his brother is like her. Then she scoffed and turned away to talk to kaithi. They talked like they are old friends. Then kaithi looked at me and smirked. At that time, I realised that the coming years are not going to be easy on me. I only hoped that George and his mother will be nice person.
