Final hearing

The judgement started with deities discussion. Zhong and Yu Yan were kneeling down chained in magic , lowering their heads down . He stared at Yu Yan from his side.

And at the very same moment she also glanced at Zhong, their eyes met giving each other a flustered feeling.

She hesitantly apologised,"X-Xing I-I am Sorry..."

Zhong nodded,he didn't want to say anything now. His focus was on Lord Jiao-Long who was still staring at him. He started feeling irritated but decided to tolerate it.

The discussion was over and the angel dressed in white robe came in front of Zhong.

"Lord Zhong Xing Wang, you have broken the law of nature by marrying a mortal . Do you admit it?" He asked firmly.

Zhong only nodded.

The angel glanced at Yu Yan , his golden eyes burnt in rage . He moved to another question .

"Lord, mortal woman was offered as a sacrifice to you by some black magician but instead of killing you let mortals live in the netherworld. By doing this you unknowingly made a contract with a magician. Do you admit it?"

Zhong nodded.

Now the patience of the angel was running out , Zhong was not even opposing his questions and obediently accepting them all.

He bluntly added,"Lord, you have to fulfil that magician's request no matter if it's bad or good."

"I know..." Zhong only replied with those two words.

Annoyed by this angel remarked,"Lord,you might lose your title by doing so."

"I know."

Angel clenched his fist and turned back to Lord Jiao-Long. "My lord, Lord Zhong has accepted all his faults. Please lead the judgement by giving appropriate punishment."

After reporting everything, Angel bowed and got back to his seat.

"Do you have anything you want to say in your favour?" Lord Jiao-Long asked , the smile still playing on his lips.

Zhong was getting irritated by that cheap glance and his anger was running out of his control. All he wanted was to end this shit' as soon as possible.

He took a deep breath and answered,"No."

"Very well then. Yu Yan do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Hearing Lord Jiao-Long's question,Yu Yan lifted her face. Zhong saw her , her lips were trembling . It looks like she had something to say but was not getting courage to speak. He placed his left hand on hers . She looks at Zhong ,her eyes teary but Zhong's fearless eyes sneaked deep into her amber blossoms and hugged her invisibly.

"My love, what you have to say just say."

Yu Yan nodded and turned back to face Lord Jiao-Long.

"A-Almighty god, m-my f-father is not a b-bad person. H-he was f-forced to do it..."

The court members after hearing this confession of Yu Yan went silent. They were expecting to hear her begging for life.

Yu Yan continued,"O-Our k-kingdom is in miserable c-condition . D-demons are a-attacking on h-humans..."

Lord Jiao-Long spoke in the middle ,"So your father thought of asking help from the deity of the netherworld?"

Yu Yan first was speechless because it was the exact same thing she was going to say. She nodded and lowered her face.

"Hmm...I see." Observing Yu Yan's words, Lord Jiao-Long couldn't find any lies in whatever she said. After a few moments of silence he abruptly announced.

"Lord Zhong Xing Wang will no longer be the deity of the netherworld."

Everyone gasped in shock, well that was expected but seeing it happening was a bit unreal.

Lord Jiao-Long continued," He will accompany his mortal wife to the mortal world and will live as a demigod. He will not have access to the immortal world and his half powers will be sealed during his stay in the mortal world."

The hearing was given and everyone agreed with Lord Jiao-Long's decision. The angel again came to Zhong and raised his hand towards him, a bright golden light beam flashed on Zhong and sucked out the crimson coloured energy from Zhong's body.

In arduous pain Zhong gritted his teeth, it was like his body was torn in pieces slowly one by one. He sensed his bones were crushed slowly under his muscles...not able to tolerate it any longer he screamed. The court echoed by Zhong's excruciating roar ; enough to give shivers of terror.

Yu Yan cried more terribly and was about to hold him but was stopped suddenly.

Gritting his teeth, Zhong managed to blurt some words,"D-Don't come closer..."

The angel stopped his flow of golden energy and blessed Zhong with some healing potion. The half powers of Zhong were taken away,but still that was enough to survive in the mortal world. Instead he found it weird because Lord Jiao-Long was unexpectedly showing mercy on him.

Others would not know but Zhong was sharp minded. He can read the thoughts of anyone but why was Lord Jiao-Long showing mercy to him? And he can never get an answer to this question because he and Yu Yan will soon leave for the mortal world.

Zhong felt sorry for the original owner of the body, if he weren't transmigrated in this body there was no chance the original owner would let this day come. He would have killed Yu Yan long ago... Thinking this made him feel like loser but then a small hand pressed on his wounded hand.

"D-Don't worry...M-My f-father will treat you luxuriously.." Yu Yan spoke, she had a bright smile on her face. This was the first time he was seeing her smiling so freely.

He nodded because now Yu Yan was his life. He was going through all this for her , maybe he was that deeply in love with her. Suddenly something flashed in Zhong's memories, he saw a tall silhouette of man hugging a woman who was covered in blood. Her white skin was all red with blood. His eyes soaked with tears , this was the memory of the original owner.

Why was he seeing it ! It naturally made his heart feel heavy as if he was the man in the memory.

The magic circle appeared there.

"Please both of you enter inside."

Hearing the angel's words , Zhong stood up holding Yu Yan's hand. The knights unchained them . Both of them holding their hands entered inside the magic circle.

Now what fate will be brought in Zhong's life.
