The other woman

Matteo Arturo took his fourth shot for the night and shut his eyes tightly to savor its taste. He was not supposed to be drinking alone in a bar on a Friday night, but after his best friend Vincenzo Santoro bailed on him without giving him a reason, he thought to himself, "Why the hell not?"

Matteo was a little bit disturbed. He genuinely thought he was getting over the woman that stomped his heart because of his lies, but every progress he had made over the past few weeks blew up in his face the minute he saw the pretty princess again. She was still a vision to behold. 

Her charming smile, witty tongue, and bubbly personality were something he thought he would see forever. However, it was quite unfortunate that they did not last. Matteo took another shot of tequila and sighed.
