Chapter 120: Virtual Gaming Dad (2) (New)

The divorce was finalized very quickly, their house was sold, and Zhen Ya signed her rights away and wanted no contact. She took nearly all of their joint funds and left like a very wealthy ex-wife.

Rachel sat her bags down at their new apartment, and pulled her tie off, Yang Hei followed and looked at his silent father quietly. He had bags of his own, his eyes where very watery.

He was then led inside by a relative. Rachel Cousin and his wife where helping them with the move. Once Yang Hei was led inside by the gentle women, her cousin took her aside and gave her a pep talk.

She watched as her kind relatives left, she must admit its nice to have understanding people by one's side. Right now she felt like a mess and needed some comfort.

"Dad ... I ... I will listen to you in the future and never do bad. I will study hard in the future."

Rachel didn't look at him, she just patted his head with a solemn and sad look on her face.

"You don't have to, studying hard is not for you. Otherwise, you would be in this situation, I don't expect that from you." Rachel clenched her teeth, her words came out really bad.

Yang Hei's face went pale and looked depressed.

"You like video games, right?" Rachel said thoughtful but still not looking at him as she picked up dishes and was beginning to wash them.

"…." Yang Hei was silent but he had very sad eyes on him, his expression became worse when he realized his father had not once looked at him. "I do" he answered solemnly.

"Then, Perhaps, I'm hoping your really good. Maybe you have been invited to join a team. E-Sports may not mean much, But I think it is a good profession to look into."

China looks their E-Sports and since this is a futuristic world and virtual game are in abundance.

"Maybe you can show your old man, why you like video games to much."

Although, their son went out in caused trouble with hooligans, in each incident it involved an online game her son liked to play or at a location he was playing at.

Yang Hei was silent as he came by and started drying the dishes, Rachel washed.

"Well, did you ever get an invite to join a team."

"Ah, Yes, I did" Yang Hei said embarrassed.

"Then your Dad, will support it."

"REALLY!?" Yang Hei looked up at his dad, his excitement when down when he saw sadness in his father's eyes.

"You, Dad, thinks it's a path you can take. Life is short, I don't stop you from doing something that makes you happy."

The next day…..

Rachel looked around at the Virtual Café, which holds the game his son liked to play.

"Dad, are you sure you'll be fine on your own." Yang Hei, said nervously.

"Yeah, I'll be fine" Rachel lifted her card for the game. "You go play with your friends" she said.

Yang Hei nodded he to head upstairs turned but couldn't help but keep looking back. His group of friends where looking at this situation with smiles.

Rachel was somewhat excited; she had never played a virtual world game before and this is her opportunity to do so. She walked into the dark room and found her seat from the ticket she was given. People where sitting peacefully on the chair with the headsets on.

She plopped herself down entered the card in the chair and turned the chair on.

She was in a White space that had some glitter in the background. Rachel was then taken to. She got a create a character screen.

Rachel couldn't help but smile as she already had an idea on a character that matched both Yang Wei and hers Interest. As well as a Way to mess with her son.

The glint in her eyes turned Mischievous light.
