Human beings are annoying creatures hiding behind a mask of deceit...
They act friendly towards you while hiding their true intentions. They lie, cheat and steal while making up excuses for themselves to justify their actions and yet they are quick to find fault in others for doing the same thing.
I don't remember who exactly said it, but some guy once said
"The world will be a better place if everyone understood one another"
What a load of bull!
The fact that no two people can ever truly understand one another is what keeps balance in this world. If you knew the nasty thoughts constantly running through the person beside you or the dirty secrets of the one you admire you'll hate them for it.
You'll criticize them, hate them and bombard them with useless ideals as though you are not the exact same way.
Humans are scum. And among that sea of scum, I probably was one of the worst kinds of scum... Well, at least before I gained "perspective"
They say "ignorance is bliss" and that couldn't be more accurate if they tried. If people could truly understand the thoughts that goes through the minds of those around them, the world will change in a very terrible way.
Be it the lies that people tell to make others feel better, the things about you that disgusts others but they keep quiet about it anyway or the secrets they don't want exposed, all will be revealed to you and once you see it, there is no turning back.
At that point, coexistence is impossible and all you're left with is isolation— Well, my isolation was different. Sure, hearing what people truly thinks hurts, but being bombarded by hate from all directions at the same time crushes one's spirit
Well, if you look on the bright side, you'll feel like a celebrity in the middle of a scandal except the scandal never ends.
And yet here I am trying to reintegrate myself into society— but then, what can you do when even your parents think you're a disappointment and a liability? I guess in my case, my pride just won't let myself be seen that way..... I want to prove them wrong.

That's my bus. It's been five years since I entered my predicament, five years since I've interacted with another human being, five years alone in that dark room with nothing but my phone and anime..... Five years which ends today.
