Soon enough, Luna felt her feet on the ground. She slowly adjusted her sight as the place they were floating earlier was so dark that even if the realm they were in now made her dazzled by the light.
'It isn't even that bright,' she thought.
"W-where are we?" Calla uttered.
Luna did not answer immediately. Instead, she looked around first. There was one thing she could only say; A barren land deprived of nature's beauty. The grass was akin to ash, the tree branches were without leaves, and the wind carried dark particles of magic.
It made them remember the danger zone of Magic Academy. Since Calla has long been a student of the academy, she wasn't ignorant of that place. Even if she's yet to join the finalists of Fleeting Team Battles, she once had been an audience to them. Further, the wild and vicious monsters there led her to think that a similar being was likely to appear right in front of them.
