Chapter 18

Today I was all alone, Joyce had to work over time cause she didn't finish some paper work in the office. I didn't feel like cooking so I just ordered some pizza. When the pizza arrived I ate it, I went to the fridge and I took out a bottle of water.

I was so busy thinking about Lilith, I hope she could forgive me when she finds out that she's going to a magical realm. I looked at a photograph of Joyce and I, I wonder if Joyce would forgive me when she finds out the truth about me. I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration.

I decided to take out the trash before going to bed. Someone grabbed my collar and threw inside the house. I shattered the glass door. "What the f**k?" I said. I looked up and I saw Damian looking at me. "Da.....Damian? What are you doing here?" l asked. "I'm here to take you home" Damian replied. "What?" I asked.

"We could leave quietly or we could do this another way" Damian said. "I'm not leaving" I said. I can't leave....what about Joyce?, i don't want to leave. I stood up from the pile glass. "It's not a request young man, we're leaving now" Damian said. "If you want me to go then you'd have to take my dead body" I said.

I know it's not wise to upset Damian but I don't want to return home with him. "With pleasure" Damian said. Damian ran to me with his super speed and he punched me. He punched me, that made me fly and I broke his television....shit Joyce is going to kill me.

l ran to him with my super speed and punched him. Damian was silent....this isn't good. It's best for him to tell you how he feels than for him to silent. In a nut shell.....his silence is deadly.

Damian looks at me and his eyes were red and his fangs are out, that means he would really take my dead body home tonight. He grabbed me by the collar and he kicked me, it sent me flying through the roof.

I found myself up in the sky, I controlled my speed and I reversed, i immediately came down and I landed flat on my face. I stood up, i changed to my Vampire form. "Is that all you got? " I asked. "I'm just warming up" Damian said. He ran to me but I grabbed him and kicked .

Damian smirked, A devilish smirk formed on his face. "I taught you well but I didn't teach you everything" Damian said. "Oh yeah?...I had a good teacher.....but unfortunately he wasn't that good" I said.

Damian kicked me to the sky and this time he joined me. He beat the shit out of me, when we both hit the ground I was still on the ground. I couldn't get up but when I remember Joyce, I got this sudden boost in strength.

"Now we could end this madness and go home" Damian said. "Didn't you hear me? If you want to take me then you'd have to take my dead body" I said. I stood up. "Nathaniel don't make me do anything you'd regret" Damian said.

Damian looks at Nathaniel me and I knew I've pushed his botton too far. He ran to me and he beat the crap out of him. When he was done, he looked down at me and I who was covered in blood. "You should be thankful we're related, if it was an outsider he would have been dead by now....Now we leave now" He said.

I smiled at Damian. "I go no where" I said. "What is wrong with you? Do you really want to die in my hands?" Damian asked in anger. "I can't leave now....there's something important I need to attend to" I said.

"Something or someone?" Damian asked. I looked at Damian in shock. How did he know?...I wish I could tell him that Joyce is the reason why I don't want to leave. "It....it's something very important...I know my father has found a bride for me but.....but I can't marry her.....I don't love her" l said.

"It doesn't matter if you love her or not, it's what's best for your kingdom" Damian said. "What? Damian you always said it's good for a man to follow his heart" I said. "That was a long time ago" Damian replied.

"You.....you're not the man I once knew...the Damian I know would also encourage someone to follow his heart.....but if you don't encourage me who will?" I asked but he was silent

"Forget it, I'd marry her since I don't have a choice but just give me sometime I'd return on my own" l said. "Alright" Damian replied. Damian left, I sat on the ground. How do I tell Joyce that I'm a Vampire Prince and now I'm getting married in due time.
