Jay had kissed him. OOoooh James was ecstatic! But the way he phrased it, why did Jay always make things so complicated, did this mean he liked him to? Or was he just trying to find a way to forgive him without just saying it….. or ... ack he needed a more definite response of some sort!

Fire snake, worry about the fire snake first, only after dealing with that monster could he have Jay to himself again. But why couldn't they just move to Alaska or something instead, they didn't need to kill the fire snake. Eventually that weird fern person would take care of it right? Once they got enough 'proof' or its existence anyway.

He was a fire mage and Jay was sky, no matter how you looked at it taking down that thing was impossible. His fire would reduce its attack damage on him but the same held true for it he attacked it. It would do basically nothing. As much as he loved Jay his magic wasn't strong enough to take on a beast of that level heck they'd be lucky to take down a rank 4 beast.

"Ah so how you planning to take down this snake exactly?" James asked.

"I'm still working on the details." Snapped Jay. Oh he sounds grouchy now thought James, just what is going through his head right now? Did that snake's aura attack do some damage or something?

"I'm going to find us some food" James said cautiously heading to the door.

"Wear a disguise" said Jay tossing him a hat. James caught it and put it on, it'd look weird to wear sunglasses at night so instead he grabbed a pair of reading glasses. Nope on second thought that messed with his eyesight too much.

"Honestly" muttered Jay after James sat trying different things for 5 minutes. Jay tossed him a face mask, "Just act like you have a cold and also buy some cold medicine."

James put it on and left the motel. My little Jay he thought, why must this be so difficult, to Alaska we go! He'd have to push that idea more when he got back.

He dropped by a small store and grabbed some essentials, snacks, water, soda, bread, peanut butter, bananas, apples….. etc.

He was examining some veggie bags when two others entered the store. A really tiny guy with blond hair and a taller darker haired guy. Jay was tiny but this guy had him beat by just a little. James smiled inwardly as he tried to size the two up. The two seemed close, I wonder if they are a thing, thought James. Hmm that should be Jay and him one day. Side by side grocery shopping. Feeding each other the free samples and making any other lovers in the store jealous out of their minds.

James sighed for now he'd just have to be one of the slightly jealous lovers missing his own pride and joy. He hurried to finish ringing up his items. If he was extremely lucky maybe he could feed Jay a snack or two while looking lovingly into his eyes.

James smirked, ah Jay would probably throw a fit, but it would totally still be worth at least trying. He looked into his bag as he headed out the door. Chocolate covered nuts, one of Jay's favorites, check. Now about hearing him moan about their deliciousness while James fed them one by one to him.

He smirked at his own illusions. Ooh what if he banned Jay from eating them unless he was able to feed him? He did buy them, but that might also end with Jay just tossing a bucket of water at him or something.

A troubled thought crossed his mind, what if Jay simply refused to leave? He knew that Jay wanted to become one of the strongest Majikku user but he was still sky and taking on a fire snake was the kind of dumb idea he would pursue without thought of the consequences.

When he returned to the motel Jay was on his phone with a curious look.

"What is it?" he asked.

Jay held the phone up.

"How to reply" mumbled Jay.

"Simple" said James grabbing the phone and typing into the link.

The phone buzzed again.

[BrightSpeed: Thank you for the details, we are comparing them to another report from the area. Please stay away from the area until we can conclude that it is 100% safe.]

James let out his breath, finally someone who would do something. Now he didn't have to worry about Jay going off after the snake or something else stupid.

"James?"

"Hmm" James turned toward Jay who had a look of determination in his eyes.

"We need to go back and find the snake again, so that we can make sure it's gone for good."

James stared at him "Say what now?"

Jay turned his eyes to meet James's "I'm going back to make sure they find the snake."

James stared at him, oh please no, just stay where it's safe...… is that really so hard to do? Why must you always try to get involved with dangerous things that's how you end up dead!

Jay opened his mouth again "If we don't there is a chance they won't find it, and many others could die." He said quietly.
