Chapter 5: Looming Trouble

These people in black were with swords and blades, they all looked menacing. Immediately, the guards spring into action and fierce fight broke out the army of the kingdom joined the fight so that the guards will help the people escape.

Before I could leave my seat a mercenary had gotten to me , I knew I had to fight him off before more came. I raised my dress a little a kicked him in his groin . I searched his body and took a blade,a sword and a loaded gun.

I took the blade and used it to tear my gown for ease of movement, by the time I was done I looked up and realized that I was surrounded, the guards had gotten everyone out of the ball room and I was the only civilian there. I took the gun out and I began to shoot aimlessly looking for an escape route out of the circle, I was able to find one after knocking two guys out with the gun . I took to my heels towards that side and was able to pass through. The mercenaries were on my heels as I ran for safety.

By the time I got to the place others escaped from there was another guy in black at the entrance. I tried to shoot him but I was out of bullets, so I threw the gun at his head he fell down writhing in pains and I escaped.

By the time I got to the main hallway leading to the main exit I was caught unaware as something hit my head. I turned to find another person in a blue overall with a baton in hand . I delivered a perfect kick to the person and collected the baton beating the guy . The person removed the mask covering his face and I gasped in shock
