CHAPTER 14: Crazy man

After concluding the story everyone burst into applause but only Onyx and I was silent. This story was too accurate, I looked over to Onyx and I knew he had the same thoughts.

"We need to talk to that lady" Onyx said and I replied with a nod.

While everyone else was praising the woman and giving her money onyx and I made our way to the woman.

"Ma please can we see you privately it's important" I asked the gentle looking lady

"I'm sorry but I can't do that" she replied. I was about to convince her again before Onyx removed his hood and shade. The woman gasped in shock and Onyx covered up.

"Who are you" she asked with a shaking voice

"I'm prince Onyx and this is princess Ondina" Onyx said. After hearing our names she looked more shocked than before. Before she could utter another word, someone called out to her.

"Come to this place in two weeks we'll talk there" she said and gave me a paper with some description. Before we could react she was gone. Her expression said it all, we had something to do with her story.

Onyx and I quickly got over everything and continued our sight seeing. I couldn't help but fawn over everything, we walked for a while and decided to settle on spending the rest of the day in the park.

I saw kids playing and parents conversing with themselves, I felt empty because I've never felt such warmth from my parents.

Onyx noticed my change of mood and immediately guessed why, he held my hands and said

"Don't feel bad, everyone has priorities but our parent didn't count us as one"

" What do you mean, our mother always cared for Olivia more than she cared for me and why's that" I asked dejectedly

" That's because..... "Onyx said as a call came on his phone. After talking over the phone for a while, he said

" I have to go now, there's an emergency and I'm going to the palace"

" okay"I answered

" Are you not coming with me" he asked

" Don't worry I'll come home by myself" I said

He agreed and left, I was still sulking when I felt someone sit beside me.

" Onyx why are you back..... " I stopped when I realized it wasn't him but one random guy.

"Hello pretty" The guy said. I looked at him with a disgusted expression

"And who are you" I asked apprehensively

"I'm the guy of your dreams" he replied. I rolled my eyes at him and asked

"Are you sure it's not my nightmare".

He chuckled charmingly and said

"You are a case study princess Ondina"

"What did you call me you crazy man" I asked him in shock.

" What did you call me princess Ondina, be mindful of your words, you are a princess"

he stated. Still shocked by the fact that my cover was blown I couldn't refute his words. He smiled then continued

" You are one feisty princess and you are pretty good with disguises too"

" Shut up, wh.. who do you think you are, I mean I'm not who you think I am" i stammered

" You can't lie to me, I know you more than you think" he said leaning towards me. I stood up from the bench hurriedly, he smirked at me and said

"See you later princess Ondina". He stood up and left. I was so confused by what happened, how did the guy recognize me. I could feel an incoming headache when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"let go off me you crazy man" I shouted before I turned my face to realize that it was my brother.

" What crazy man are you talking of sis" Onyx asked. I sighed and explained the situation to him, he just laughed and shook his head.

"Why are you laughing, does it sound funny to you" I asked angrily.

"Yes, it does but forget about it let's go home" he said taking my hand. And we went home after our adventurous day.
