Chapter 2

The next several months went by as Moite didn't seem himself as he tried to keep away from Racha. He still gave her those piercing looks as he wanted her. Everyday even at school it seem as if something was wrong and he didn't even tell Kinase. They stopped hanging out as Desarie tried to explain that maybe it was Racha's fault. Maybe she had lead him on and then told him no. They knew that wasn't it as they weren't exactly sure what was going on with him.

When Moite got home that day after school he felt like a bad friend. He wanted nothing more than to hang out at the diner and then race to the creek to see which one had to pay next. His dad and uncle realized who Racha was as they had told him not to go near her. " Son. your uncle is in the basement. He wants to speak to you." " ok."

He put his homework on his bed before walking into the basement as his father had walked up behind him. " Moite. what's your friend Racha's last name? "

He thought that was an odd question as his dad put his hand on his shoulder. " No need to question that Quinn her father is Wren. " They seemed to have come with a realization as Moite stood there confused as his dad and uncle wanted to share a drink together. " She's pretty ain't she? "

He smiled at that as he thought of her. " Yes. beautiful."

" Come on join us. " He drank the wine as it tasted bitter for them as they continued to talk as his eyes became heavy before falling to the ground in a heap.

" How do you know this will work. it has too. He can hang out with her but the minute she gets near boom he snapps making it seem his fault instead of ours."

He heard his uncle talk as they talked about what happened over 12 years ago as they sighed. I miss her, and what you did was stupid. Going against her and putting that sickness over her. What the fuck was the matter. She had one flaw and you had to ruin that family. "

His uncle sneared. " Hey you knew about it and you could've changed it by changing the past. You still could and for some stupid reason you can't because she didn't get it for you!" Quinn didn't care as much about what had happened as his father still mourned for her. " You act as if you weren't part of it when you clearly where. Get your fucking head out of the sewer!' Quinn yelled as he stomped over to Moiute didn't believe his ears as he faked being a sleep.

" When you awake it'll be activated. " Quinn whispered as he snapped his fingers as Moite's eyes opened as he squinted at the bright light. " I thought I was drinking? That's weird." He knew what he had heard but he didn't understand why his uncle did what he did. What did she not get? He questioned everything as they told him to go get his school work done. He was so ready for school to be done with.

The next day he got done with his algebra as his phone rang. " Hey."

" Nothing really, bored." He wished so much that Racha would understand as he heard a female's voice on the other end. Desarie. " Hey is Racha there? "

He could hear her sweet angelic voice as he heard her say " no thanks. If he can't speak to me at school I don't want to speak to him over the phone."

"Could you tell her please meet me at the Diner please. I really need to talk to her."

He heard them talking as he heard loud footsteps coming towards him as he hung up the phone and grabbed his homework as he put on a fake facial smile as his door opened ." Hey son. How's Algebra?"

"Good." He questioned why his dad came in to his room as he thought the meeting was going to be in the living room. " Look about the other day. I'm sorry we got you to drink. " He couldn't tell if his dad was being serious. He didn't know that wasn't his first time. Plus they had obviously put something into the drink. Ain't nothing that strong could put him out like that. Weither it was whisky or just a margarita. " Look dad I know and it's ok. You're hard on him and you're hard on yourself. You can't blame yourself but the people around you. " He didn't know what he was saying as his dad gave him a forced smile as he didn't look sure of it. " Dad. What happened to Racha's mom? I only ask because I really like this girl and I want to know more about her without asking her."

His dad looked down at his wine cup as he traced the tip with his finger. " It was in the Past. Why do you want to know more about her anyways she's just like her mother. Sorry thats not how this is supposed to go. " He cleared his throat as Moite suddenly had lots of questions about their powers. " When you like a girl you're going to have a dee-" " woah I already know about that dad. I'm talking about with the powers what do I do? "

" You let her come to you. Second take her no matter the consequeses. Third love her with everything that you have and Forth Don't do anything that you will regret. " Moite regretted this conversations as he wished he had gone his mother for advice. " Is that what you did with mom? "

His dad laughed fully laughed and he hadn't seen him laugh because of him in his entire life. " No son. Thats what we did with-." He didn't look like the same dad as Moite had felt the room get hallow and dark. " Dad. Hey calm down you're going to cause a shortage." His dad didn't want to stop he missed Tina. He loved her and then the stupid brother of his had to ruin everything.

" Dad. " Moite was confused but he knew what he was about to say before he almost killed the lights literally. What had they done exactly he needed to find out without getting caught. There was a party Friday and it was in two days maybe Racha would go with him or meet him there.

Kinase had scared him as he got what he needed from his locker. " Fucking shit man. One day i'm going to punch you and it will hurt. "

Kinase just laughed as he saw Desarie and Racha walking together talking about girl things as they walked by. Moite stared like a Hawk. He was being way to obviouse and he needed to man up and talk to her. " Wow you're in love." Moite didn't understand as Kinase tried to explain love as Moite already understood as He dreamt of her every night that past week. " Do you think she hates me."

" No she just thinks your'e a pussy." KInase stated casually as he walked into class as Moite could barely keep up with the teacher and their assignment. He ended up writing a note as he got Kinase who sat beside him to pass it to her.

She got the note as she read it and then turned and looked at him then at Desarie who sat beside her. He couldn't hear what they said but eventaully he got it back as he didn't look to thrilled but at least this counts as talking. After class he talked to Kinase before meeting Racha at the spot.

Racha waiting patiently as she saw him come from the side door as she locked the front door as he did the same as she couldn't tell what he did. She tried to speak only for him to push her hard against the wall as he kissed her hard as he deepend the kiss as she threw her arms around him. She moaned and pushed against him as he wanted to be the one to domanate. He got upset as he grabbed her wrists and turned her around as he breathed into her ear as he dry humped her hard. " I want to take you so hard right here." He demanded as she breathed out. " We're at school."   He didn't care as he turned her around as he got in between her legs as he pressed it against her thigh. " I don't care. "  She waited for anything as she was ready.

He remembered his dads words as it came back to haunt him. "Take her no matter what."   He pushed away as she tried to breath. " Not like this. I want it to be perfect the first time. " She was confused as she didn't understand as she watched him. " I'm starved. Want to get a bite?" She didn't care about food she wanted him. "Sure."

She noticed Desarie and Kinase at the Diner holding hands as Desarie looked over at them as she quickly pulled away as she invited them over. " How's ya'll's day?"

" good. So far." Kinase looked over at Desarie with a look racha knew all to well as she gave Des a look as she blushed. Moite had ordered Racha and him their favorite as they talked for 10 minutes as Moite said he had to leave before his father got upset that he was late as he grabbed  Racha by the chin as she looked up at him. " I'll see you at the party." He said as he stared into her eyes lovingly as he kissed her. He got up as he paid the bill as Racha still watched as she was extremly anxious and not satisfied. Later Des and Racha  talked about their men as they got ready for the party that night.

When they got to the party She knew that this wasn't what she dreamed of what a party would be like. She hoped for lights in the trees as there'd be loud music the only thing there was were a lot of people and drinks. I guess she shouldn't have worn something so fancy. It was a bit chilly. 30 minutes in somebody eventually put music on as Moite and Kinase finally showed up as Moite just wanted Racha and not at this party. Racha grabbed another drink as she knew she was getting duzzed. When she turned around Desarie had ran over to Kinase as Moite stared and gawked at Racha. She felt powerful with the look as she walked over to him swaying her hips in the process.

" I think I'd rather us leave and I tear that fucking thing off you with my teeth. " She knew he really wanted to with the look on his face as she felt turned on. "You just got here and I really wanna dance with you." She pouted as she knew it also got to him as he stared at her lips as he just couldn't think straight. " We can dance somewhere warmer with a bed. " He didn't look well as he grabbed her and pulled her closer as his  blue eyes dilated and went a brown shade. " Moite whats wrong?"  She raised her hand as  he grabbed them with one hand as his other grabbed her by the throat and not in the way she liked. When he started squeezing thats when she freaked. " Moite. " She tried to speak as the people around them watched in alarm.  He growled like a dog would as Kinase tried to get him to brake his hold. Desarie yelled till Moite threw her a few feet away as he tried to punch at Kinase.

Racha didn't know what to think other than the fact that he just tried to kill her. She thought he loved her not enough to kill her. This wasn't Moite it was something else. If only she could grab him without him trying to hurt her and see what he was seeing, maybe it'll work. " Racha you ok? Whats wrong with him? Why is he trying to hurt you?" Racha didn't respond only stared trying to think as she watched Kinase puch him only for Moite to use his power as he just simple motioned with his hands as Kinase slammed against the tree as Desarie became worried in fear over Kinase. " Kinase! O my God." She fell at her knees trying to wake him as she made sure he was breathing. She turned around mad as she yelled at him. " Fuck you Moite! Fuck you!" Racha seemed utterly terrified she knew she had powers  but she's never seen her in action and now she understood why.

She pushed her hands out in a form as the air around her became warmer as fire erupped as the flame became  arrows as she pushed out with her hands and they took flight. Moite had a look as he motioned with his hand at the ground as the tree branches went around her legs as the arrows flew into Moite's skin as he cried out from the pain.  She didn't hesitate as the branches flipped her as she used her power to get out as she got back up even more pissed as Moite wanted nothing more than to kill her but he needed to see Racha's blood first.

Kinase opened his eyes as he saw the sight in front of him.  He didn't want to believe his best friend would hurt him or Anyone for that matter. He didn't understand what he was seeing as he watched in amazment at Desarie.  Racha looked terrified as she moved closer towards Moite. Racha watched as Moite tried to motion with his hand as the fire around her cucooned her as she yelled from the heat. Kinase was on his feet in horror at what Moite was doing as Kinase shook angrly at his best friend. Racha couldn't stand by as she motioned with her hand as it threw Moite off as Kinase caught her in his arms as he made sure she was ok as the burns on her arms and legs showed. Kinase used his cooling to soothe her. Racha lifted her and Moite into the air as  the people had already fled.

Racha didn't have a clue on what she was going as she struck with force from the air at Moite. When he struck it was as if it was lightning she didn't like it as Kinase held Desarie who knew it was all going to end badly.  Kinase watched as Moite tried to fling himself but she made it to were he couldn't move. She floated near him. " Moite. It's Racha. I know this isn't you. " She cried as she saw no emotion what so ever as she tried to speak to him as tears fell from her face. " Who's controling you? Please Moite. " She didn't understand as he tried to struggle again as their friends watched from below. Surprisingly no one was coming to help or save them.

" Moite. ' She cried. " I love you. "

Moite blinked hard before seeing Racha in front of him. He was confused as to what had happened and why she was crying. " Racha."  He looked down afraid of what happened as everthing seemed very off. When he looked down at himself that's when he saw the burn marks on his clothes. He tried to move as Racha floated closer. " Moite. Why? Her voice broke as tears fell from her face." Why What?" He was confused as he still couldn't move as he struggled. " You hurt me and you hurt them." She pointed as she came closer only she looked scared.

That's when he told her everything from the wine drinking to that day as they seemed to put something into his mind. He thought they were playing around with  him until he understood what they meant by sickness on her mom. They had poised his mind. When she got closer it was as if something inside him was brought back as he grabbed the bolder from the ground as the person inside him tried to change what was possible.  His dad wouldn't get what he was doing but he knew how to change it. Racha knew he was doing something as she pushed him as something hit her hard from the back as she tried to turn as she fell while Kinase and Desarie screamed from the ground.

Moite didn't understand what happened as he had sudden reign on himself as he looked down at Racha as he looked at her laying on the ground. " Racha!"

He jumped from branch to branch as he finally landed on the ground. He hated everything as he saw her not breathing. He held her as he cried. " Moite. "

Kinase cried in disbeleif as Desarie cried too only she wanted to cradled Racha but she only watched as she crumbled to her knees for the second times but only in defeat.  Kinase reached out to her as she fell into him as she cried as she lost her best friend.

That when Moite remembered what his father knew and what to do and how to change the past that's what he had whipsered to him before his brother came back to put more intructions in his mind. He didn't want this for his son he didn't want this as a regret laying on him as he knew it would hurt him so much more than just a little. When he told him what to do word for word thats when he woke him back up only to repeat what his brother did only earasing the bad his brother was doing to him. He hoped it worked. He knew the town only let them stay because we didn't do any harm but he knew if they did use them in any hurtful way there would be war a never ending war.

Moite remembered as he whispered in another language the words that he heard from his mind as Kinase didn't understand but still held a crying Desarie. Everything changed fast in front them as Racha was still behind Moite as Desarie flung the fire arrows at him as he held his ground and blinked hard as the arrows pierced his skin. " Fucking shit! " He yelled in pain as he hunched over. "The nuggets on earth! " They stared hard as Desarie only looked at the ground at Kinase who came too before Desarie helped him from the ground. Moite looked behind him as Racha looked very terrified as she'd seen a ghost or worse.

"Racha. " He walked towards her as she looked ready to cry as he lifted his hands to show mercy. He was in arms reach as he knew she wanted to be held as he reached out only to be met with the ground. " Don't ever touch me like that again!" He knew he had done something but he still wasn't sure what he had done as she walked away from him before he got up from the ground. " That was a good punch." He said turning around as he tried to explain only Kinase punched him hard across the the same cheek as it burned. " Fucking nuggets." He cried as Desarie had lit fire from her hands as his eyes widened.

" Look I can explain. Please tell her to put it out?" He asked looking at Racha then at Kinase only it didn't seem like they wanted to do anything only kill him. " Please let me explain. My uncle has had it out for her family my dad reversed it by giving me codes in Anciet Japinese to do it. Please I promise I wouldn't lie, expesally like this." He held up his hands in almost defeat as Racha touched Desarie as she looked over at her. " Moite. What about my mother?" He didn't want to say it as he didn't want her to look defeated as a few tears fell from her face. " You hurt me because your uncle hurt my mother?" She didn't understand as  it all came crashing down on him as he watched her in pain. Desarie put her arm around her as he wished it was him instead. " My uncle has the power to make anyone sick. Whether its with the flu or Cancer. I'm sorry I really am.  "

Kinase stared as he never knew anything like that could happen but he did know about Moite's father and Uncle. " I heard them talking that one night I said I wanted to get something from the fridge. They were talking about using you as the bait so they wouldn't get caught.  I thought they were joking or playing some sort of prank. " He knew something was up with his family but going after Racha was wrong.

" Can we go somewhere that no one would question what happened and why we look terrible?" Racha asked as Desarie lead them towards her house.

Des's family was gone for the week. technically they were always gone but she didn't care. Moite and Kinase talked as Desarie and racha got cleaned up as the two guys had already  had taken showers and changed into diffrent clothes. Thankfully Kinase was always over so he had extra as Moite didn't even want to question anything.

When they eventually went their seprate ways Moite walked Racha home. They talked about their friends and laughed. Racha wasn't sure if it was love that she felt for Moite or if she was just imagining it. She wondered how he felt about her as they walked through Racha's parents house. Thankfully no one was home. She grabbed a few drinks from the fridge as she walked towards her room with him in tow. He had grabbed her hips and squeezed playfully. " Moite. Quit. " She pushed against his chest before she grabbed her desk chair and sat down before he had grabbed her again.

"What are we doing this weekend?" She asked spinnning around as Moite grabbed ahold of the back of the chair. Racha was dizzy just from that before he spun her faster. " Ahh. Stop. Moite."   She  heard him laugh as he kept spinning her as he eventually stopped.  Racha's mom Uiaze had came home earlier than expected as hearing laughter from her daughters room made her curious. " Racha. I'm home!" She yelled before entering the hallway towards her room. Racha knew she wasn't strict but she still got up from her chair as she slid back into it by her desk.  " Hey Moite. It's nice to see you again. "

Racha and Moite had hung out before at her home more than a few times. Uiaze knew Moite and knew his intentions with her daughter.

" Hey Mrs. Daniels. " Moite was always polite even though sometimes things irritated him he always tried to keep that good mood. He loved to help around him even when sometimes it wasn't nessessary. Thats what Racha loved about him. Racha wished she had more of a good heart like he did. She knew she brought more joy to his life. He had told her that about a month before when they were at school before class.  She looked in between her mother who was asking if he'd like to stay for dinner as he asked if she knew the time.  Racha didn't have a clock in her room but she knew she needed to get one. " I got to get home before dad calls for me. Where supposed to have family dinner tonight." He said nerviously as racha didn't want to believe him as the way he acted.  " I'll walk you." Racha had gotten up from her chair as he gave her a look.

" It's fine. I'd rather you not walk 2 blocks back here on your own anyways. I'll be safe. " When he looked at her and said it thats when he felt calm. Everything about Racha calmed him down. She was a down to earth girl who loved those around her.  He never understood the way she was connected with him , expesally that fast. He loved the way she brushed her hair in between her fingers and then tucked it behind her ear.

When Moite got home he wasn't ready for what his dad and uncle to tell him more of what their plan was. He wasn't surprised with their relationship the past few months they hadn't been happy for some random reason but he didn't know what to say about Racha.  " I know, I know. How are we suppossed to do that.  I don't want to relive any of that. I don't want my son to do any of that and now I don't even know what you have done!"

Moite did understand but he knew he should've called out when he had gotten home. It wasn't as if they were quiet either.  They yelled so much that he had gotten to his room successfully before they knew he was home. He questioned everything that happened that day including what the hell happened that night. He was sure that they wouldn't speak to him and he was right thankfully tomorrow was Saturday so he didn't have to go to school.
