Chapter -17 : New Discovery

"sigh! Father, don't you seems to be really unreliable!"

"You kid... What do you know. Our family is feared by everyone. People when hear the name of Sigal family, if they have good intentions than they will bow there head, and if have bad intentions than they will bow their head."

"Why does it sound that you said the same thing both the times??" Ryan thought that he has misheard and didn't get it right.

"Of course you heard the same thing because no matter what, they have to bow there head to us. Its just every generation in our family think that ruling is hard work and comes with too much responsibility, otherwise do you think we really need to be called as Duke family till now??"

"Oh, so that's how it is. Now I understand this clearly, you are lazy and just don't want to work, right." Looking at Andrew, he said jokingly.

"You kid, what do you understand. If you think as such, then do you want to be the next emperor of these empire?" Patting his back, Andrew grabbed Ryan by his clothes and asked.

"Dad, I will complain to grandpa that you are instigating me to take action against the Empire. I will also tell mother that you said that current emperor is lazy and need to be changed by us. Hehehe, I don't know if you again, have to sleep outside your room."

"You...you kid, what are you talking about, do you think I am afraid of your mother. What can she do?"

"Hehehe...stop pretending, I have seen you sleeping outside your room when you said that you didn't like the food, the other day. I know, that day food was made by mother, you paid no attention...and what happened later I know quite well."

"Huh... What else did you know tell me now or see if I don't break your legs.." pointing his finger at Ryan, Andrew angrily asked.

"Do you really want to know?? I have heard many things...like, mother made you do some..."

"Shut up.... Say more and I will expel you from the mansion right now."

"Oh.. I am so afraid. Hehehe. Little wolf, I think we won't have a place to live in anymore. Sigh! It's such a shame that when I was about to show you the place I used to stay, I won't be able to stay there anymore."

"So dad, what are going to do later about this case??"

"I will of course teach you a lesson."

"Snap out of it already, dad. I am talking about the situation with demons." Ryan didn't know whether to laugh or cry when he saw Andrew's gloomy expression.

"Oh that... I have a idea, to why these demons have became so active. We have pocket dimension in this world, you should have impression about them, right. In the capital of Cathia empire, there are two pocket dimension space in which there is high concentration of magic. These pocket dimension are called dungeons. by us, due to high concentration of magic into them, they were made by a Powerful person so that, the ratio of monsters can be maintained. Later, to train people, number of gates were made into that dungeons. The number of monsters in these dungeons are uncountable."

"You don't understand how hard it is to cultivate magic power because you already have high amount but others are different. To a number of value, magic can be cultivated inside this dungeons because of high concentration but after you reach a height that magic concentration inside doesn't have any effect on you, you have to search for other ways."

"There is nobody, who doesn't like being stronger than he is already. Everyone has hunger for power and money, this are also basic things because of which, anyone will work. If they don't have greed, do you think people will work?"

"Such things are both good and bad. If there is no goal, human will not work. Whereas if there is attractive things than we won't let it fall in others hands no matter the price. Inside this dungeons, every few years something valuable takes form, which can help the person go further into magic power after they are unable to cultivate freely." Andrew explained many things which although common knowledge, if not mentioned Ryan has no way of knowing yet because he will only get himself busy with reading and practice.

"There is such a thing?? This means that there might be something valuable that has taken shape with high magic concentration?" Ryan has stars in his eyes. Dungeons name here is a little different to what he knows but that doesn't mean that he wasn't excited.

"It's not complete yet. When the time comes, of course we will go there to. From the last three treasures, our Sigal family has acquired all three...hehehe I had one reserved for you to use but who would have known that you don't need it. Now I am planning to give that to your mother. Only she is the one who doesn't have magic power as high as me and your grandparents."

"Dad then how much time is left before the treasure is completely form??" Ryan didn't pay his attention to later part that Andrew told him. His mind spinned around obtaining treasure.

From the time Ryan knew that his magic power was very high, he was little overwhelmed by the thoughts of what he should do and what he shouldn't.

In this world, except for the infighting, there aren't any major battles between the races. Every race wants to be superior to other, not only that every leader of the same race wants to be above other leaders in the same race.

Ryan didn't want to show off his strength and make the human race enemy of others or nor can he just go to other race and start slaughtering them.

Human fight human, monsters fight monsters and humans fight monsters also Human,demon and monsters fight each other. If anyone has more power than other two, the weaker one will join forces to deal with the powerful one until all are on the same level.

Ryan understand all these because of which he thought that his adventures might not be adventurous, he can solve everything if he neglect the casualties which will take place, if he made his move.

He can wait for balance to break and than move with such things he, why he who was just a child with a happy family, ruin his own peaceful life?

Thinking about this Ryan decided to just study and practice to pass his time. But now that he knows that his family can get benifits from something, obviously he will come forward.
