Chapter 2

The news woman looked Latina. She had a big fat onion booty that Richie could appreciate.

Onion booty didn't seem impressed to see Richie at first. She started heading towards the Absolution school house, but then as recognition flooded her, she spun around, her long brown hair sailing through the air dramatically. Richie wondered how many casting auditions she failed with that move.

"Wait! You're Richard Beltran, aren't you?" A huge smile ripping across her pretty face. "Kaye's nephew! Oh my God! Are you scheduled to attend this school?" She excitedly motions to the camera guy to come over and start filming. "Will you give us some quotes about this place?"

"Sure," Richie muttered. If excitement was money, he didn't have enough to buy his way out of his execution.

"A tour?" The News lady said, touching an ear piece in her ear. She turned back to Richie. "Do you think you can give us that tour of your magic academy now?"

Richard looked around the inner lobby of the school. He himself had never gotten a full tour of the place and was interested in seeing it for himself.

"Yeah, sure…" Richard said absently. He couldn't help but admire the place as he made his way inside, looking up at the ceilings, getting lost in the colorful paintings, accented by golden designs of zodiac symbols and Greek mythology figures. They sparkled and reflected the lights of the space high above them.

"This is really something, huh?" Richard said, impressed.

"So why did you get kicked off your show?"

Blink. Richard slowly turned his head around to face the reporter lady and found her standing way too close.

"You want a piggy back ride?" Richard asked her.

"Sorry, I have a bit of a depth perception problem," she said, towering over him.

"So about the show—"

"Can we not talk about that?"

"But the world wants to know! You were the star of the hottest new sitcom on television. Then something happened, and now you're here at a wizardry school…"

"Yeah, I'm here trying to avoid people like you!" He said, growing irritated. "I'm here trying to get away from Hollywood. I just want to live a normal life, do normal kid things, like ignore my responsibilities, go to a magic school, and learn a witch craft spell that will bend all women to my will."

Richard stopped and thought about his last words. "Pretend I didn't say that last part out loud..."

"But rumor has it that you were kicked off the show for because of—"

When he spun around to address her, he found her way too close again. She shoved the microphone so hard in his face it punched him in the nose.

"OW! Lady—"

"Let go see the other floors of this place," the camera man suddenly said. "I got some nice shots of this entry way, so let's get to the rest of the school."

"Right!" The reporter says.

Richard rolls his eyes and continues with the tour. But he started to pray something amazing would happen to distract these people and keep them off his case.
