Chapter 9 - Sea of bones

If you want to reach the Undead Hall, then you have to keep walking towards the depth of the undead plane. If you go further than the undead hall, you will reach the edge of this plane.

Whole realm is surrounded by a space barrier, you can't breach the space barrier unless you have reached the top of the pyramid. Beyond the barrier, there is nothing but a chaotic void.

Many powerful humans worked together to control these realms. Link, who was walking towards the undead hall, opened his panel.

Link got a lot of experience when he killed that boss so he decided to level up. He upgraded his level to level-7. For an average apprentice professional, it would take at least ten days to reach level-7.

But Link had done the same in mere hours, But he was lucky enough to encounter a boss with only half of its Hp, If he tried to hunt the boss monster without any assistance from two adventure groups, he would have to run after getting injured by it. But he was lucky enough to encounter those two teams, who distracted the monster.

In the depth of the undead plane, a white bone hall, on the gray horizon, could be seen from the distance.

That is the Undead Hall.

Outside of the undead hall , there were a lot of monsters roaming around. If you start to approach the hall, the monster's level will keep on increasing.

There were a lot of teams of professionals, who were fighting. If you try to notice these teams, you will find that most of these professionals are level-9.

After all, most of the monsters here were level-8 or 9. So without high ranking professionals, you will just be sending yourself to the death.

Just when Link approached the outer layer of the monsters, suddenly a roar rang out from one of the small hills near him. Roar was so powerful that it shook the surrounding area.

Even professionals, who were hunting monsters, were astonished and looked around cautiously.

"What was that!"

"Did you hear that roar, i got goosebumps all over my body."

"I felt like being stared down by something very powerful."

Another sound came out of the same place. An archer with good eyesight was standing there with a look horror, as he saw something in the distance.

Archer tremblingly pointed his finger in the same direction an said "Look over there."

In the mountain path a gray-white current was flowing down.

"It's the sea of bones." Someone shouted.

When others heard the shout, they were startled at first then their face started losing color dramatically.

"Damn it, wouldn't it be an undead summoner?".

A trance of Panic flashed in their eyes as the white wave kept on approaching them.

"Wait, there is someone in that sea of bones." One of the professionals with good eyesight shouted.

As others heard the shout, they also concentrated their attention towards the center of the sea of bones. They could notice different lights coming out from the center, they were the result of different spells being used.

Apparently someone was fighting in the middle of the wave.

How could Link miss such a big commotion, he also noticed the fight before the others. Link also recognised one of the professionals who was fighting in the middle of the wave.

"Isn't that my desk mate?"

"What is she doing here?"

At the same time in the center of the seas of bones,

Yumi and Maggie were surrounded by many skeleton monsters.

Yume, the flame princess, was surrounded by flames. Every time she wielded her spear, flames were following her spear.

Wherever her spear passed through, it would destroy surrounding skeleton monsters.There were dense damage points showing on the corpses of skeleton warriors.

Skeleton monsters were being scorched by fire and falling apart. However, everytime Yumi kills a group of skeletons, another group will replace them. And these skeleton monsters kept on slashing her.

Although damage was not high, don't forget that there were a lot of these monsters, who were constantly slashing at her. As these small damages start to accumulate, they will soon turn in a large number.

Maggie, who was standing behind Yumi, kept on chanting healing spells. She didn't have any attack spell but as a support she was playing most important role in keeping Yumi alive.

As holy light condensed in front of her, she chanted the spell "Holy Word: Shield."

A white shield appeared around both of them. As soon as the shield appeared, all attack were absorbed by the shield.

Soon Maggie started chanting the next spell "Holy word: healing."

A white light enveloped Yumi's figure and her Hp recovered instantly.

As Yumi kept on waving her spear to kill the monsters, her face started to turn pale.

"Damn, i didn't know that there was a boss in there, and it was the one, who is most difficult to deal with, the undead summoner."

Maggie also frowned.

"Little mimi, our supplies are running out. I'm almost out of magic potions."

When Yumi heard Maggie, Yumi's face showed a worried expression. She gritted her teeth and said "Follow me, I will take you out."

"Flame dragon charge."

Yumi swung her spear, and a flame dragon phantom enveloped both of them. Dragon phantom roared and tore apart the skeleton monster, who blocked their way forward.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Two quickly approached the edge of the sea of bones. However, just as they were ten meters away from the edge,the flame dragon phantom disappeared.

Yumi's face turned pale and her heart was beating rapidly as she took heavy breaths.

As the inheritance skill of her awakening as a Flame dragon knight, the flame dragon charge is naturally extremely powerful.

But her current strength is very low, she can't use it for a long time. Not to mention that it can only be used once a day, and it is very exhausting to use.

Yumi glanced at the edge of the sea of bones and took a deep breath. She started attacking the skeletons, who were trying to drown them.

"Go out immediately."

"Those two are….from Flame family and Sun family."

"They are the Flame dragon knight and Holy word priest, they are both direct descendants."
