Mafia's Captive Bride

“You hypnotize me. I want to kill you so bad but I also want to f**k you so hard that you won't be able to walk for days.” He said to me while his thumb traced the edges of my lips, making me shiver. “I want to hear my name from these beautiful lips of yours.” He demanded. His dark eyes pierced my soul. “Lu-Lucifer.” I said. His thin lips instantly curled up into a breathtakingly beautiful smile. “Now, I can’t wait to hear you moan it.” Without wasting a second, he slammed his lips on mine. ------- Lucifer Salvatore is a renowned Italian Mafia. ~You leave my soul, throbbing and wet.~

Lucifer POV:

My head was filled with all sorts of thoughts about Alora when Dylan rushed into my office, "Brute, this is urgent." He was hyperventilating and deep down I knew what this was about. Therefore, my back straightened and I looked at him with concern.

"Miss. Ivy, she said that she is not going to get surgery." He told me.

"What?" I shot up from the chair and massaged my temples. It took me a long time to convince her to get surgery and now she is saying no.

"What happened? Why is she doing this?" I asked.

"I have no idea, Brute." He sighed.

Dylan is my assistant but he is more like my brother. Roman, Rachel, Dylan and Ivy, they are the only people that I have in my life. Yeah, now there is Alora as well, who is more like a pain in ass for me.

"Book me a flight to Rome right now. We are going there." I said while he immediately rushed to carry out the given task.

"What should I do about her?" I murmured to myself.

7 hours later:

We landed in Rome and the driver drove us to the hospital where Ivy is staying. The journey for me was utterly painful. Whenever I see my sister in this situation, I just lose myself and whoever did this to her, I want to kill them.

"Brute, we are here." Dylan whispered. Other than my own pain, I have noticed that Dylan also gets extremely anxious whenever it comes to Ivy. The emotions he is harboring for my sister, they aren't foreign to me. Although he tries his best to hide them from me. I will see how long he is going to feign innocence in front of me.

However, I know if anyone can put all of her pieces back together, then it's only Dylan. He can protect her from this cruel world.

"What... what are you thinking about?" He inquired.

I gazed at him intently. Those bulging muscles, overgrown stubble, tanned complexions and those grey eyes, that carries the storm of the world... There is no doubt he is one handsome looking man.

I patted his shoulder as I shook my head, "Nothing, let's go."

I exhaled loudly and buttoned up my coat. Every step that I took, it made my heart heavy. However, I tried to stay strong for the people whom I love the most.

"Hello, Mr. Salvatore." Ivy's personal doctor rushed to see me. "If you told me you are coming, I would have make arrangements-"

"Forget it." I stopped him with the gesture of my hand, "How's my sister? Is she alright?"

Doctor exhaled heavily, "Physically she is fine but mentally I she isn't. I even tried to convince her to get therapy but you know how it is."

I felt like someone was rolling my body over millions of needles. It wasn't even this hard for me when bullets pierced through my body.

"I will talk to her." I said and made my way to her room.

I stopped outside her room and glanced at Dylan, "Whenever I look at her, I really want to kill Alora." My eyes were burning with rage. The desire to kill her was overpowering all sorts of emotions that I have felt for her in my life.

"But you know that she regrets doing this-" He tried to reason with me but I glared instead.

"She does not regret anything. She is trying to act all tough and good because she wants to be with me. But don't worry, I will make her life a living hell. I will see how she will get out of the trap she set for me." My chest tightened as I said those words.

However, this time Dylan did not try to make me feel good. He is also aware of what Alora and her family has done to me. It is true that every child is a product of its circumstances, that's why me and Ivy are standing at this point in life.

I mustered up my courage before I rotated the knob of the door. The second door opened, a vase was thrown in our direction, which Dylan and I dodged. I rushed towards her, "Ivy, it's me. It's Lucifer." I held her hands and tried to calm her.

She was hyperventilating and her eyes were only for shedding tears.

"Is it really you?" She whispered and ran her hand over my face to confirm it. Her fingertips trailed my features and when she was sure that it was really me, she let out a sigh of relief.

I tried my best to not cry. However, a lump was forming in my throat. I pushed it down forcefully and looked at her. But her eyes were down. Even if she was looking at me, she couldn't see me.

"How are you doing?" I asked softly.

"There is someone else in the room too." She whispered under her breath and tried to hide behind me.

"Relax, it's Dylan." I glanced at the man. His broad shoulders were suddenly droopy and even though Ivy was right in front of him but he had his eyes lowered. He knows that although she can't see him, she can still feel someone's gaze on herself and the eyes of others, she loathes them.

"If you want, I can leave." He said politely.

Ivy's grip on my coat loosened a bit upon recognizing his voice.

She trusts him. That's great.

"It's okay, Dylan. Take a seat." I gave him an affirmative nod. However, he did not relax at all.

"So, tell me what's bothering you?" I turned my attention towards Ivy. She is beautiful, with long hair, perfect complexion and blue eyes.... that are extremely pretty but even with those pretty eyes, she is unable to see the colors of the world.

"Nothing." Ivy fiddled with her fingers, "I do not want to get surgery. I am fine with my life right now."

"But I am not." It pains me to see her this way, "I want you to get surgery, see the world, make friends and do what you like instead of spending your life in this room."

"You think I can live a normal life just because I will be able to see?" Her question caught me off guard, "It's not my eyes that are an obstacle in my life. You are well aware of it but it is my...." She choked on her words and hid her face behind her palms.

The temperature dropped in my surroundings and when I glanced at Dylan, he was still looking down but his hands that were resting on his thighs, now they were turned into fists so tight that his knuckles had turned white.

"Here, come here." I pulled her into a hug while she sobbed hard. Meanwhile, I tried my best to remain calm in this situation.

"Don't you want to see me?" I made an effort to approach this matter emotionally.

"I do, but I can picture you as well." She told me.

"That's not enough for me." She pulled away from me while I wiped all the tears from her face, "Listen, I am not going to force you. This is going to be your decision but I want you to move on and I promise you, who did this to you, I will bring that person to your feet. You can kill him yourself then."

"I don't want anything. I do not want you to seek revenge for me either. Just live your life and let me be." She hugged the pillow that was next to her.

"How can I live my life? It pains me to see you this way." I threw my head in my hands, "There are so many people who love you and they are waiting for you to get better. You need to stop being so selfish this time." My words were blunt. However, she really needs a reality check.

"If you really care about me, I want you to get this surgery." I said what I wanted to say and got up, "I will head back to LA tonight. Dylan will be here. You can tell him your decision after you make up your mind."

Dylan looked at me with pure shock after he heard me and Ivy also got tense at this new piece of news.

"Brute but-" He tried to make me change my mind but I stopped him immediately.

"You know that I have to attend the hearing. It is better for you to stay here in my place."

Unlike what I thought, Ivy remained quiet. Meanwhile, Dylan had no choice but to obey me. "Don't worry." He assured me.

I glanced at Ivy who looked like a lost kitten in the white dress which she was wearing. But what's tormenting is that she is really a 'lost kitten.'

"I will talk to you later." I said to her and got up to leave. However, her words made me stop.

"Be good to her. You know that I love her, right?"

I clenched my fists. Alora should be really thankful to Ivy. Otherwise, she would be buried deep in the ground.

"You don't have to say twice."
