Chapter 20

When they got home, Jason was just about to go to his room when Aunty Mira called him to come to the living room which he did. When he got there he asked her why she was calling him and was told to hand over his notebooks for today which he did before being told to stop standing like a statue and sit down.

"I heard that your examination is coming up soon, when is it?" asked Aunty Mira.

"Next two months, which will be July 24th why are you asking" reply Jason while looking at Aunty Mira.

When she heard Jason asking why she stopped what she was doing and raised her head to look at her cute little nephew before replying.

 "since my brother and his wife are not here it will be difficult for you to study since you won't be able to ask anyone questions about something you don't know".

"But I'm not complaining, besides I have Max and his parents who are willing to help" said Jason with a smile.

"It's true that you had them but that's when you are at their home. what about when you are not there but here?" asked Aunty Mira.

When Jason heard where she was going, he was unable to alter a word and was just sitting while playing with his fingernails. Seeing that her nephew was no longer saying anything, Aunty Mira couldn't help but ask.

"How are you even preparing for the examination"?.

"Very well prepared, Max and I always study and set questions for us to answer and whenever we come across any difficulty we will take it to his father but most of the time we'll write them down and ask the teacher that's taking the subject the next day" replied Jason while still playing with his fingernails.

"That's good to hear, it seems you guys are really prepared for the examination" replied Aunty Mira, feeling proud of her nephew's effort toward the upcoming exam. 

Jason smiled in return for the compliment.

Aunty Mira brought out a notebook from his bag before saying.

 "Since your parents are not around I will be assisting you with your studies".

"Thanks, Aunty Mira" replied Jason happily. 

"It's okay, do you have any spare notebook that you are going to use for your study?" asked Aunty Mira.

Jason nodded his head in return before getting up and hurrying to his room to look for a spare notebook before coming back to the living room after some time with a notebook and pen before sitting down and waiting for Aunty Mira to start with the lesson. Jason started learning under Aunty Mira for some time before it was getting close to 5 Pm when they ended the learning session and Aunty Mira told Jason to go and take his bath and after which he should come to grab something before they go out for a walk. 

Jason did as he was instructed to and went back to his room in excitement about going for a walk since it's been long since he went out for a walk due to his father's condition.

After taking his bath, Jason went back to the kitchen to eat the toasted bread and milk Aunty Mira has prepared for him before they left the house and started walking around the town and decided to sit down on a wooden chair that was at the edge of the road while enjoying the view around them before Aunty Mira cell phone rang and she took it out of her purse to see who the caller was only to discover that it was Jerry and she picked the call.

"Hello Jerry, how are you doing?" she asked.

"I'm doing okay my angel, how about you" replied Jerry.

"I'm good and thanks for asking" said Aunty Pat.

"Okay, so what are you doing?" asked Jerry.

"Nothing much, just went for a walk with Jason" replied Aunty Mira.

"It seems to me that you are really bored" asked Jerry while laughing from the other side.

Aunty Mira also let out a laugh in return before asking.

"what are you doing".

"I'm going out to watch a movie in the cinema, do you want to tag along" replied Jerry.

"Sure, anything to keep myself company" said Aunty Mira happily.

"Okay so where am I going to pick you up" asked Jerry.

"We are sitting by the roadside when you are entering the district" replied Aunty Mira as she began to describe their location to him.

"Okay, just give me some time let me get dressed I will be there in no time" said Jerry before hanging up the call.

Aunty Mira kept her phone in her bag and continued to enjoy the view. After waiting for 15 minutes a Pagani huayra drove into the district and blew his horn at them. Aunty Mira and Jason turn around when they hear the sound of the horn and see Jerry waving at them.

They both went over and got into the car before Jerry drove the car out of the district and headed to the cinema. After getting there Jerry packed the car at the garage before walking out with them to the stand where they are supposed to purchase the ticket for the movie he wanted to watch.

"What movie do you want to watch?" asked Aunty Mira while waiting for their tickets to be given to them.

"Oh, the avengers endgame" replied Jerry while smiling at them.

Meanwhile, Jason who was standing with Aunty Mira was very happy to hear that he was going to watch his hero Thor in action. When Jerry saw the excitement on Jason's face, he chuckle before saying to Aunty Mira

 "Jason looks happy when he hears we are going to watch the avengers endgame".

Aunty Mira turned to look at Jason after what Jerry said and could tell that her nephew was really excited and she asked him while smiling.

"Jason, who is your favorite character in the movie".

When Jason heard the question, he turned to look at his Aunty before replying.

"my favorite character is the god of thunder Thor, what about you Aunty" replied Jason with a smile. 

"Mine is the black widow" replied Aunty Mira before turning to look at Jerry.

Seeing the way Jason and his Aunty are looking at him, Jerry asked them straight away why they are looking at him like that.

"Since you are interested in watching the movie you must love it, so I was thinking who is your favorite character" asked Aunty Mira.

"Since you really want to know, Tony Stark is my favorite character" replied Jerry with a laugh.

After waiting for their turn, Jerry bought three tickets before buying popcorn and soft drinks as they went inside.
