Chapter 52: Enter Nico Robin....

After eating Luffy and Ace left the restaurant. Luffy called everyone to gather at the ship, if they had finished their town-tour and disconnected the call.

" By, the way, how do you like my Devil Fruit? The Mera Mera no Mi? " Ace asked after a moment of silence.

" It's cool. Not as cool as mine, but it's nice! " Luffy answered. Ace laughed a little.

" Hmm, that's correct. But my Devil Fruit has more potential than yours. " Ace chirped in. Luffy didn't argue with him further. Soon they reached the ship.

" OI, GUYS! " Luffy yelled and waved. They boarded the ship and when they did that, Ace tied his small boat with their ship and they set sail.

Suddenly Ace shouted, " Yamato..what are you doing here? " He was shocked because he knew Yamato was Kaido's daughter and she shouldn't be here.

Yamato smirked, " You egocentric jerk, look didn't i find my crew. That day you didn't bring me with you but thanks because if you had done so, i would have missed such a good crew. Humph...." She said proudly.

Ace ignored her and asked Luffy, " Hey moron, tell me the whole story. " Luffy smiled and told all of them his journey towards Wano in details. Luffy's crew was surprised after they found out Yamato's identify.

After a while Bonney asked, " Anyway who is this? "

" That's my older brother, Ace! " Luffy told them and pointed at him.

" Luffy, it's rude to point. " Ace told him in a sagely manner.

" Whatever. " Luffy shrugged.

" P-P-Portgas D Ace?! " Nami stuttered. Ace nodded. " Y-You have a bounty of 550,000,000 Belly? " Nami asked. Ace was amused by her reaction, so he took out a Bounty Poster from his pocket and asked, " Why are you surprised, when your captain has already a bounty above 1 billion Belly. "

" WHAT.... " Everyone said in unison and Zoro hurriedly snatched the bounty poster. Everyone watched in awe as they confirmed it was true.

Then they looked at Luffy for explanation, so Luffy told them his fight against Kizaru and killing a Celestial Dragon.

" Anyway, Ace is really strong. Like I said, he's the 2nd division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. " Luffy told them again.

" Luffy, would you- " Ace began. "No, Ace." Luffy interrupted, " I won't join you nor anyone of my crew. " Ace sighed due to Luffy's stubbornness.

" Hey, guys. I'd like to thank you for taking care of my brother. I know he can be a handful sometimes! " he told the crew and bowed them, which they answered by bowing their heads.

" Yes, he has! " they told him in unison except Zoro.

" THAT'S RUDE, JERKS! " Luffy yelled and they cringed and moved away from him a bit. Ace chuckled at the sight.

" Anyway, I'm on the hunt for a man named Blackbeard. He's done what no crew member should do and killed one of our nakama, so I'm going to finish him off. " Ace told them. " So what are you all here for? "

" I'm going to beat the crap out of Crocodile! " he announced. Ace smiled, " Looks like that Crocodile has bad luck. "

Then Ace put his hand into his pocket and pulled out a single, blank piece of paper. He threw it at Luffy, who caught it.

" Save this piece of paper, Luffy. It'll allow us to meet again someday. " He told him. Luffy looked at the piece of paper and smiled 'Ace's vivre card.'

Then the big brother jumped down into his little, tiny boat thing. He activated his devil fruit and started sailing away.

" Ahaahaahaahaa! You're all going to die together! How sweet! " Crocodile announced, looking at his accomplishment proudly.

After crossing both the dried out Erumalu, the once green city as well as Yuba, which was ravaged by sandstorm, the crew came to Rainbase, where Crocodile owned a casino.

They met Vivi on the way and Luffy told her some of Crocodile's plans and became friends with her.

Vivi was also very happy to find out that Luffy was trying to help her Kingdom but she left to inform her father. Then Luffy split his crew in two teams to save time. Both Zoro and Nojiko were with him while the rest went to spoil Crocodile's plan.

And now here they were trapped in a nice, seastone cage somehow with Smoker and Tashigi.

Actually Luffy let Crocodile capture them, to find out if there were any changes in the plot due to the butterfly effect. Also he was waiting to meet his new crew member, so he didn't do anything to Crocodile.

" Look at you Dragon King Luffy, a man with 1.2 billion bounty who was easily captured by me Ahaahaaahaa...What a disgrace you are. " Crocodile said and started laughing.

Crocodile continued laughing. " Hey Crocodile, when you stop laughing, could you give me some of that food there?" he asked him.

" It's not like he'd give it to you, Luffy! " Nojiko told him.

" She's right! " Crocodile announced. " This food is for the guest of honor! "

" And who would that be? " Smokey asked.

" Nefertari Vivi the princess of Arabasta. I've sent my partner to fetch her already." Crocodile told him. Luffy's eyes immediately lit up.

" But Vivi won't eat! You're pretty dumb, Crocodile! " he told him. Crocodile's eyes twitched in annoyance while Tashigi and Nojiko giggled.

" I don't want to hear that from you Dragon King Luffy. " he answered in an irritated voice. " I'm not the one who got caught! "

" Hmmm, I heard you got your butt kicked by old man Whitebeard once! " Luffy told him in a mocking tone and Crocodile's eyes darkened.

" Do you want me to kill you right now?! " Crocodile nearly yelled and a few of Luffy's jail members cringed while Luffy snickered.

" So it's true then, Crocy? " Luffy asked him. Crocodile gritted his teeth. " But there's no need to be so angry. Giant ossan is pretty tough! "

' Giant ossan?! ' everyone, including Crocodile thought. He stared angrily at the cage.

"Ah, that reminds me! Ace gave me Whitebeard's number! I'm going to say hi to him once we're done here! " Luffy told everyone.

" How could a pest like you possibly have Whitebeard's number?! " he asked him. Luffy gained a thoughtful expression.

" Well, Giant ossan calls his crew his sons, right? So that makes my brother his son and I guess that makes me his son too, right? " Luffy said.

" Makes sense, I guess! " Nojiko replied.

" Why are you even- " Tashigi began in an irritated tone.

" OH MY GOD! " Luffy interrupted with his sudden realization, " I HAVE LIKE TWO THOUSAND BROTHERS! "

Crocodile sighed and turned away in irritation. ' He's going to be dead soon anyway! '

" You have the Den Den Mushi number of Edward Newgate? And we're supposed to believe that?! " Smokey asked as Luffy shrugged.

" Don't care even if you believe or not, Smokey." He told him and Smoker gritted his teeth in annoyance.

" CALL ME SMOKER! " he yelled at him.

" NO! NEVER! I'D RATHER DIE! " Luffy yelled back. Everyone just stared at him dumbly.

" Che.... Whatever. " Smoker sighed and leaned back.

" And now I'm bored. " Luffy announced. Crocodile sighed too.

' Does he have like a degree in annoying people? ' he thought.

" I know! " Luffy announced suddenly, " I'll do impressions! "

Everyone groaned in annoyance, except Nojiko, who was kinda excited and Zoro, who was sleeping somehow.

" First, I'll do a Whitebeard impression! " Luffy announced. Nojiko's eyes lit up in awe and the rest actually looked at him, somewhat surprised.

Luffy stood up now and With his other hand he put one finger above his mouth, representing Whitebeard's moustache.

" GURARARA....! You think a little brat like you could beat me, eh Crocodile-brat? " Luffy impersonated. Smoker's eyes widened.

' That was actually spot on. ' He thought as he knew how Whitebeard laughed and more importantly, how he addressed almost everyone younger than him as a brat or kid.

" CUT THAT OUT! " Crocodile yelled, startling everyone.

" Arara..., I see you're having fun, Boss! " A sweet flowery voice interrupted everyone. Nico Robin stepped into the room and giggled silently to herself. Crocodile glared at her. ' Damn woman. '
