Chapter 48: Clash With An Admiral...

He wants to enjoy his fight, so he won't use his full power if not necessary. So if you are expecting a one punch man type fight, then sorry about that.

I have no experience in writing action scenes, but i have tried my best to portray my thoughts. So please comment me whether you liked it or not.

Luffy looked at the twitching body of Saint Edgar on the ground with disgust. Then he grabbed his neck and said, " Your rescuers will be here in a moment, hence you have lost your usefulness. Now bye bye disgusting bubble headed bastard. "

Luffy crushed his neck with crack and killed him immediately. Then he made a wooden cross by his Arc of Embodiment and tied the dead body after removing all of his clothes.

Luffy looked at the naked body of Saint Edgar with satisfaction and walked towards the petrified Hancock.

He patted her head and said, " Hancock don't worry, no one can harm you. I will always there to protect you. " He smiled a little, " Now you wait for me in Shakky's bar. After finishing my business, i will meet you there. " Then he teleported her to the bar.

After waiting for a minute or two, finally a very tall middle-aged man with short black wavy hair, thin beard, and slanted dark-colored eyes could be seen walking towards him.

Kizaru was wearing his signature teal shirt with a lilac tie underneath his vertically striped yellow suit, a white Marine cape, white shoes, orange sunglasses and had a relaxed demeanor.

" Oh so you are the enemy, but I really didn't expect the Dragon King Luffy to be here. " said Kizaru in his usual bored and slurred voice.

Luffy yawned, " Enough, let's fight. I have zero interest in seeing your lazyass face. " Then he immediately transformed into a hybrid form with a Dragon head, Dragon Claws and wings sprouting from his back.

" A mythical zoan fruit. A Devil Fruit even rarer than a logia and very powerful. I only saw two in my life, Sengoku and the first division Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates Marco the Phoenix and now i've seen a third. I must be lucky. " said Kizaru.

" You are far from lucky Admiral Kizaru. You are actually the unluckiest person in the world. Do you know why? " asked Luffy with a smile.

" Why don't you tell me yourself!! " said Kizaru in his typical bored voice who answered Luffy's question with a question of his own.

" It's because, today i will use you as my stepping stone to further announce my dominance. " said Luffy who had a dangerous look on his face and enormous haki coming from him.

Kizaru vanished and quickly appeared in front of Luffy with a light speed kick however Luffy was able to dodge at the last second, then he tried delivering a strong punch to Kizaru who disappeared and reappeared to Luffy's side.

Luffy having sensed this launched a round house kick to Kizaru kicking him a far distance. However before he was able to hit a nearby building, Kizaru quickly turned to light and teleported to the top of the building. Luffy quickly flew to the building that Kizaru's was standing on.

The two were on the building looking at each other. Both had expressions that were similar. One had a lazy bored expression, the other a calm unaffected one.

" You're definitely really tough. I didn't expect to fight an opponent as strong as you. " commented Kizaru.

" That's not my fault. " said Luffy.

Suddenly Luffy used blink and in the next moment he had Kizaru pinned to the ground. Using his Dragon Claws he landed a harsh punch to Kizaru face.

He then began punching away at Kizaru who was bleeding from Luffy's powerful punches. Luffy eventually stopped when he realized that Kizaru had his fingers charging a powerful light beam.

Surprise was all that was present on his face before he was blasted by the powerful beam into several buildings.

Kizaru got up and dusted himself before wiping some of the blood that was on his open wound.

Just as he stood up, Kizaru blinked towards his location saving him the trouble of having to go there himself.

" What a surprise, i'm actually bleeding. " said Kizaru's in his usual voice though it did have somewhat of a surprised tone.

" You make it sound like it isn't often that you bleed like that. " replied Luffy.

" That's true, it's very rare for me to bleed at all much less like this. " said Kizaru.

Then Kizaru launched a light beam at Luffy who dodged then teleported behind him and launched a *Yasakani no Magatama* onto Luffy's back.

" Yasakani no Magatama ..." said Kizaru who was sent a bunch of light particles at Luffy's back.

The attack hit his back resulting in a large explosion. Through the dust he appeared right in front of Kizaru and was ready to deliver a vicious punch but Kizaru teleported a safe distance from him and launched another *Yasakani no magatama* at Luffy.

" Yasakani no Magatama. " said Kizaru sending more rays of light towards Luffy.

Using haki he quickly flew out of the way but Kizaru was one step ahead of him. Kizaru formed some light between his hand and launched it at a building.

The light began reflecting off the surface of the buildings eventually being reflected towards Luffy, who effortlessly blocked it with his dragon arms.

Then another was followed which was blocked effortlessly again. Then a third and forth came both in rapid succession.

Soon a stream of deadly light rays were coming towards him one after the other and he was using his arms to keep on knocking, blocking and parrying each particle. None were able to hit him however.

" You're really something aren't you. In all my life as a marine I've never fought a pirate as strong as you. In fact I've honestly never been injured as much as I have been today. I applaud you. " said Kizaru who then began clapping for Luffy. But Luffy just looked at him like looking an idiot.

However the battle was far from over. Extending both his arms out, Kizaru formed a sword made of light in his hand.

" Ama no Murakumo. " said Kizaru as the long sword made of pure light formed in his hand. While Kizaru became serious, Luffy was feeling ecstatic to finally found someone worthy to battle with.

It seemed as if Kizaru was planning to simply reflect himself around randomly the place for no reason.

But suddenly he felt a sharp pain on his side and looked to see a slash wound on him.

The light was reflecting around randomly again from all different directions when he suddenly saw Kizaru materialize with his sword in his hand and striked him again. He attempted to block but the sword strike was able to cut through his dragon scaled arm.

" What!!! " said Luffy in surprise seeing his arm being cut. He had never thought his defence could be avoided this easily.

He turned again to see light just reflecting around the place with no set destination. Then suddenly the light turned back to Kizaru who again slashed him.

Then Kizaru delivered a huge cross slash to his chest following by a vicious light speed kick, which sent him into the base of a huge building. Kizaru then blinked close to the buildings. Light began to form in both his arms.

" Time to end this. " said Kizaru and sent a torrent of powerful light particles to the base of the building creating several huge explosions at the base.

The explosions caused the building to start to crumble and eventually collapse onto Luffy who was still inside. Kizaru watched as the huge building came crashing down presumably burying Luffy underneath the large layers of rubble.

" Well I'm glad it's over. " said Kizaru with a sigh and began to walk away when suddenly he heard a huge noise. He turned around to see that the noise was coming from the building. More specifically the noise was coming from something underneath the collapsed building.

" Just what do I have to do to get rid of you cockroach. " said Kizaru who despite his face still being blank was frustrated over his inability to kill the young Pirate.

" Alright i have enough fun for today. " said Luffy calmly despite all his wounds and injuries.
