Chapter 37: Instructor Mihawk.........

Cocoyasi Village, East Blue:-

The next morning after having a breakfast Luffy decided to leave this place. He let Nami and Nojiko stay here and spend some time with their mother.

Luffy told them he had some business, until he finished that they could stay here. Both Nami and Nojiko felt very happy for Luffy's consideration.

When Luffy started walking outside the mother and daughter trio also went with him to send him off. Just as Luffy was about to fly, he remembered something and turned back. He walked towards Nojiko and Nami duo, gave them a quick peck on their cheecks and then vanished from his spot.

Everything happened so fast that bith girls couldn't react in time. Nami was fuming in anger while Nojiko was happily humming. Bell-mère was also amused by this sudden attack, but didn't say anything and went inside to continue her chores while Nami and Nojiko started arguing.

After Luffy left the Cocoyasi Village, he decided to recruit Yamato before doing anything else. So he told Jasmine to pinpoint the location of Wano Country. According to her estimate it would take him atleast a week to reach Wano with his normal speed.

Luffy was also not in a hurry, so he started flying normally in the direction of Wano Country. Suddenly he remembered something, so he changed his mind.

' Jasmine, point out the location of Kuraigana Island. '

[ Affirmative.

Destination has been altered.

Current destination:- Kuraigana Island ]

Luffy changed his direction and started flying towards the north. He wanted to make a deal with Mihawk first before, starting his journey towards Wano. So he changed his course and started flying in the direction of Kuraigana Island.

The next day.

Luffy could finally see a deserted island in the horizon, it was surrounded by a haze of purple mist. This island was the Kuraigana Island, it was a dark and gloomy place. It was once the home of the now fallen Shikkearu Kingdom. The forest island is relatively deserted except for some ruins. Amongst its landscape, the island possesses unique hills.

Luffy spotted a castle at the centre of the island and directly flew towards it. He landed in front of the castle and entered inside, once inside what greeted him was a sight of Mihawk seeping red wine in a casual attire.

Mihawk glanced at him calmly and asked, " So why are you here kid, i don't think ever told you about me living here. "

Luffy grinned, " Hmm, actually i have my own waya to find out your location, let's stop this nonsense and get down to the main topic. I want to make a deal with you. "

Mihawk stopped drinking wine and asked curiously, " Oh then tell me your deal, i am all ears. " Luffy nodded and started speaking, " Actually i want you to train my crew members for two years in return i will give you a better sword and a swordsmanship manual to improve your proficiency in swordsmanship into a new level. "

Mihawk laughed a little, " Boy i already have a better sword so, why should i accept your deal? "

Luffy smirked, " Then let's make a bet, if i can break your Yoru with a single punch then will you consider my offer? " said Luffy while he started scheming inside his mind.

" Humh, then let's see how can a single punch from you can destroy my Yoru!!! " scoffed Mihawk in displeased tone and handed his sword to him. Luffy grinned and was happy that Mihawk took the bait.

" Are you sure you won't regret later? " Luffy asked a final time and Mihawk nodded in confirmation.

Then Luffy just nodded and flicked the sword. The moment Luffy touched the sword, Yoru one of the strongest swords in the world of One Piece started disintegrating like dried leaves in front of Mihawk's awestruck face.

Actually it was quite a simple task for Luffy, he just separated the space between the atoms of the sword. It was one of the minor operation of his **Cataclysmic Orb**.

Yoru was a normal but better sword according to this world, but there was nothing special about it. But if it was a sword like 'Ea' then, it was impossible to separate the atoms that easily.

" Sigh... it's my fault to underestimate you. Alright i am ready to come with you. " Said Mihawk and picked up the remaining fragments of his sword and went inside to prepare for his journey.

After a while Mihawk came out with his former professional outfit.

' Jasmine, buy me a swordsmanship manual and Golden Sword of the Victorious: Caliburn. '

[ Affirmative.

27,000 sp has been deducted, remaining credit 35,000 sp. ]

Luffy took out the sword and a golden thin book from his inventory and gave it to Mihawk. Mihawk immediately started inspecting his new sword and after holding it for a while he found out the difference between his Yoru and this new sword.

" That sword is known as Caliburn the Golden Sword of the Victorious and this thin book is the manual. You can learn it instantly by crushing it. " said Luffy. Mihawk gulped down his saliva, because it was the first time he had heard about a manual that could be learnt immediately.

" Now now, you can do it later. I am going to teleport you for now and you can discuss with my crew members about the details regarding the training regimen. " said Luffy while looking at Mihawk, who was just busy in caressing his new sword.

Luffy became impatient and asked, " Are you ready? " Mihawk nodded and locked his mantion. After that Luffy teleported him to the island where Zoro and rest were currently secluded.

Luffy also called them to inform them about his deal with Mihawk. After he disconnected the call, Luffy sighed and once again resumed his journey towards Wano.
