Dangerous Ally

As soon as Kristen woke up from her unconscious fall and gather up her thlights about what happened and how on earth she got there and where she was, one thing for certain was that she was in a cell in the dungeon brought in by the vampires that caught her when she fell but surprisingly did not suck her dry, that part she had figured it out long ago.

She started banging the metal cell cursing and swearing but no response it was so quiet you could hear only crickets singing , it was dark and it reaked of rotten flesh and dried out blood. She couldn't see anyone in any of the other cells she figured she was alone that part was obvious until a voice came that startled her.

"You are wasting your time really, please stop" the stranger said, the voice was male, young but not too young and it was calm and polite in a harsh way. It came from the cell across from hers.

"Is there someone there?" She asked surprised but of course there was, would a wall speak to her? Was she hallucinating now? Did that fall really mess with her mind that bad? She kept asking herself when no replied came.

She guessed but her thoughts where cut short when he replied.

"Hallucinating? Is that the best you can come up with?" His voice was close to a laughter and sent Kristen shivers down her slime, was she thinking out loud without noticing? No impossible he must have read her mind or her expression but he wouldn't be able to see that its too dark and she could bearly see anything in the cell.

"No one will be coming down here for at least a few hours from now" He spoke, his voice kept its calmness and gentleness.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"No one important to you, it seems tonight history will be rewritten and one of the greatest years to remember" he replied, an answer Kristen did not want but she dammed knew he was right about tonight. A lot was and is happening and she was pulled right out of it curse those dead creatures Kristen swore.

" you must have been through a lot this evening ey?" He asked when Kristen did not reply to his statement before but her thoughts were loud he could hear them from where he was. So he would not wait for her to speak.

"You could say that" she breathed sliding down and turned her back and leaned on the back of the cell bars. "How do you know?" She added.

"You kept yelling and hitting the cells, clearly you had somewhere to be" he knew exactly where she was, those vampires wouldn't just grab anyone passing by unless for dinner which they indulge there and then.

"Is that so obvious?" She asked bearly interested, she had other things to worry about not a creep who was quiet all along her yelling, Evans and Skyler might be dead by now, she thought.

"No, vampires don't just grab anyone for no reason unless for dinner or carrying out an order and from the looks of it you know where you stand"

"An order? From who?" She tiltedher head to the dude so her left ear was ode to the cell to shoe interest.

"Their master of course"

"Who is 'their master'?" She asked.

"Eldon" he said slowly as if letting the word slip slowly into Kristen's head.

Kristen flinched and there so clearly as Kristen remembered the name, when lucas had told skyler and he told them, the three brothers of Nanoah the torment they could bring to them and the human race. Just like a book Morpheus read her thoughts just ad Kristen was deep in her thoughts, shocked and puzzled at the same time, the images held no interest to Morpheus he knew all that but what intrigued him more was the emptiness in her, she wasn't afraid, he would sense it if she was but she wasn't. It was just shock running through her. For a moment there he had smiled and adored her for that, the kind of gut hr had, she had it too. Morpheus was never one to show emotion because he couldn't feel any, but now he was showing the slightest of interest towards her.

"You're awfully quiet, is there something wrong?" He pressed.

"N-nothing" Kristen came back to reality any moment she would come face to face with one of the devil's accomplices, just what a girl needs!

"For a second there I thought you went into shock"

"If finding out that one of the legendary Nanoah's is not in hell after a millennium of sealing wouldn't send you in shock, hey I dont know whst will" she almost laughed a thr sound of it.

Morpheus almost laughed as well, at both her answer and her calmness, any female would due in the spot, for the first time he had envied someone, even smiled or liked talking to that person, he never spoke often and he was surprised at his own openness and he intended on exploring it, he had lots of time before Lycus came back for round two he thought, such a waste if time, once nightmare had his stage planned and he was the key it would be time, but for now let sleeping dogs lie.

"And now you? Why are you here? you mentioned that vampires did not just grab anyone so you must be valuable too" Kristen finally spoke when Morpheus went quiet a few minuets ago.

"Well valuable is not even a word for it, let's just say I am holding their fate like god does for us all" he spoke, his voice held pride and eagerness it was close to power.

"Holding a vampire's fate? Hell that 'ought to be one gift" She chuckled.

"Indeed it is, I can help you out of here you know" Morpheus said, somehow he had felt attached to her and he felt some need within him, he wanted to know her and see her, her scent flew all the way across the cells so the corner he was sitting in and lord did he smell her blood, maybe it was lust but he knew he needed her.

"Help me? How?" Kristen asked already alarmed and standing up.

"U could get you out of here" he was not interested on round two with Lycus, at least for now but they would meet again someday.

"We're both in the dungeon with probably a load of vampires crawling all over up there, how will you do that?" She asked puzzled.

"Nevermind all that, I can help if you swear to devote your soul to me for eternity" He wasn't thinking, the words just came our of his mouth he didn't put it as Nearly as he had intended, the word he wanted was 'mate' but he knew Kristen would refuse and so far she did not know that he was a vampire and he knew nothing about getting a mate but all he knew was that if Kristen was his mate she is forever trapped with him, he felt a sense of feeling in his human side that told him Kristen must be his at all cost.

"That's a strange way to put it" Kristen almost laughed but just giggled.

"I'm not one for words" he stated in seriousness.

"So like an alliance huh?" She asked.

"Uh-huh"

"Very Well, just get us out of here then sir"

A slight grin escaped from his lips and he stood up instantly.

"Very well, the deal has been made" as soon as those words slipped out his mouth both his eyes turned rec then suddenly they changed into ocean blue human eyes.

The bars on his side were reinforced like the one in sinope, they were pure silver and could withstand any source of force, how foolish he thought, he slightly pushed the steel doors open, the silver only burned his skin but it was bearable then he easily opened Kristen's door, it was dark so she could bearly see him but he could, he saw her reddish hair and her pale white skin, thin body like that of an athlete but he couldn't see her eye color clearly and that bothered him.

"There you go" hr smiled but she wouldn't see that.

"How did you-"

"The bars are rusty easy to open" he answered cutting her question short. "Follow me if you wish to live" he said, avoiding to touch kristen as much as he wanted to.
