Chapter - 11

As soon as Atticus got in his room he first closed the door, then took a deep breath.

*inhale*

*exhale*

'It's been a week already, I almost forgot that she will come here. but luckily I think I managed it quite well.' thought Atticus as he heaved a sigh of relieve and started moving towards his window.

'Couldn't you have just told me about it Luna?'

[I told you host.. you just couldn't remember it.]

[Also just so you know, from here on forward you are on your own. I helped you so much in the first mission because it was the first mission but now you will have to handle almost everything by yourself.]

'Isn't it your job to make me happy? how come you are backing away now?' thought Atticus as he picked up a water bottle from his table.

[I am doing my job flawlessly. If you really want more lovers than you'll have to work hard for it. And if you are satisfied with one than there's one about to knock your door in a couple of minutes]

Atticus sat down opened up the water bottle and drank some water. The water was tasteless, pure and cool, yet it couldn't satisfy his thirst, his thirst for 'love'.

'It's alright, It'll be more fun if I do it on my own anyways. And I also have skills given to me by Luna to assist me.' thought Atticus as he placed the water bottle back at the table.

'But for now I should prepare myself for that women, her likeability for me is 45%. It's more than enough to be married and most marriages and relationship don't even get past 35%.' thought Atticus.

*Ring* *Ring*

Lily rang Atticus' doorbell and waited patiently for some time.

She rang again.

*Tch* Lily clicked her tongue, her eyebrows furrowed, jaw clenched as she opened the apartment door.

Inside the apartment was ghost-quiet. The morning radiance of sun was peeking through the windows and the outside view was beautiful at this time of the day.

Lily's eyes darted through the apartment and after a few seconds she walked in front of Atticus' room and stood there. Lily took a deep breath and said with a smile on her face

"Little brother are you in there?"

"I rang the bell little brother but you didn't came to open the door, so I walked in without your permission."

"Open the door little brother I just want to talk"

*Knock* *Knock*

"Little brother are you listening?"

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"Little brother open the door."

After several minutes of knocking there was still no response.

'Should I just shoot the door handle? NO no way, he'll be scared shitless if I did that, I have already messed up once, can't afford it again.'

'Should I just break the door, that might work. But he'll still be scared . Ugh! what should I do!?'

*sigh* 'Maybe one last try otherwise I can always try again later anyways' thought Lily as she sighed.

"Little brother I know that you are scared of me after what I did... And I know that you don't want anything to do with me because of that, but please just let me talk to you for this once. I just want to repay you for your help. Just for this once, give me a chance to sincerely thank you, please." said Lily in a low voice and a pleading tone.

But still there was no response, It was as if there was no on in that room as if Lily was talking to a ghost.

'Damn it! Fuck! I shouldn't.. shouldn't have killed in front of him!'

'I Shouldn't have killed in front of him!!' thought Lily, gnashing her teeth, her fist clenched hard. She almost yelled out loud but controlled herself.

It was when she turned around ready to leave when the door opened. What came out of the door was a sixteen year old boy. The boy had brown hair brown eyes fair skin and overall a quite cute face.

The boy looked at Lily with terror and uncertainty in his eyes, his eyeballs shaking slightly. His breathing was ragged, his heartbeat wild and a slight blush on his face enhancing his cuteness.

When Lily saw the boy coming out her eyebrows relaxed, fist opened up and her heart started to beat faster. She planned to say a lot of things yet she couldn't bring herself to, She was completely captured by the boy in front of her and was staring straight at him.

"P-Please *hah* h-have a seat. *gulp* Mam." said Atticus breaking the silence in between them.

Listening to his request Lily nodded, and sat down in the living room.

'Why couldn't I bring myself to say anything in front of him!?' thought Lily.

'If I don't gain his trust than all I'll obtain is rejection. I don't want to force him... What should I do!!'

"W-Will you like a Beverage. Mam? asked Atticus in a stuttering tone not knowing how to address Lily.

"Um, Anything will do little brother" replied Lily with a sweet smile on her face.

Hearing this Atticus ran to the Kitchen with quick steps.

*sigh*

'It's so hard to act like an idiot' thought Atticus standing in the kitchen lazily gazing out of the window.

[A Mission's been assigned to the Host]

[ Description - Make coffee for Lily Garcia following system's recipe .

Difficulty - B

Rewards - Likeability depending on the taste and performance of the host.]

'Is it some celestial coffee recipe or something?' thought Atticus while looking at the mission window.

[It's the coffee Lily Garcia's maid mother used to make for her when she was a child.]

'Oh'

'I get it now '

'Let's do it then, I wanna see how much likeability I can get from this.' thought Atticus with a malicious grin on his face.
