Khane observed the bread on the tray. There was a wisp of steam, indicating that the food was still hot. He reached out with one hand, his index finger pressing down several times on one of the pieces of bread.

"I made some stuffed bread and… a cake. I'm just putting into practice what I learned before. I guess it will be my little pleasure amidst the boredom of being here. At least it's a positive activity I can engage in," I explained to Khane, who had asked about what I was doing.

I saw him scrutinizing the bread I had made. Suddenly, he grabbed a piece and ate it without asking. As I expected, he had no expression while eating it. I was actually embarrassed to present my bread, but… Khane didn't even show a strange expression while eating it.

"You don't have to force yourself to eat it, Khane," I said to him.
