Evan had them away to a cabin in Sun River. It wasn't only about 20 miles away, but it felt like an entirely different world. The mountain view was absolutely stunning. Maybe because it was a new view or maybe because everything looked different to her today.
After all, she was married now.
She glanced down at her ring finger. It was a simple gold band. She wasn't a fan of diamonds but to her, the ring meant circle of life. The golden band that helped bind them together for eternity.
She looked over at her sleeping husband. His left hand laid lazily on his bare chest. His gold band shined bright in the now seeping through sunshine.
She reached over and traced the gold band. He stirred.
"Good morning beautiful," he said with one eye still squinted.
"Good morning love. Do you want me to shut the drapes and drag out this morning?"
"You read my mind."
