Noah was reading the books that Lia got along with her and Jeff was on a call with the authorities because he couldn't read the language used in the realm. Lia was trying to figure out the powers of her weapons so she locked herself in a random room to not cause any trouble and to not scare Jeff. Noah kept reading and as the pages flipped through, he realized how much he had to know about the realm just to have a basic knowledge.

He regretted not taking proper lessons as asked by his mother when he was young. He was only focusing on Leo and his friend Tom that he went from one corner of the realm to the other end just to escape his mother's naggings. He hated when people gets mad at him when he plays around, they ask him to be responsible and take care of his family. Noah didn't understand the logic because in the realm everyone should take care of themselves.
