"And what is that supposed to mean Gavin,don't speak in parables, my mind can't contemplate such things.' replied Raphael.

He has send Sophia away to ask Gavin about her recent changes. He preferred the current her that the past self but still putting in mind her mission which is their curse,both she and him,he had to know if his mate was okay.

"I am not the person to tell about this. You can ask your mate about it and am sure she'll be able to explain it better than anyone else. But I must tell you, it's not just your mate, another soul exist in her body." Gavin explained.

He was not the one to go spilling other people's secrets. He was one of the earliest demons that came to be and was bestowed the power to uncover what lays beyond what is seen. The reason he had teleported to meet Raphael at the door was because he had sensed a foreign soul or rather a double souled body.

He wanted to see who the mysterious person accompanying Lucifer was but never in his wildest dreams did he ever think that thag person would be the devil's mate.

Raphael sighed.

"I can't ask her about anything yet. Though this version of Sophia is not cold and indifferent, there's still some reluctance to be with me. she even hasn't agreed to complete our mating bond something that leaves me insecure." He explained helplessness laced in his words.

"Have you asked her about it." Gavin required.

"How could I ,I would seem to be desperate about it " replied Raphael.

"And we both know that you are really desperate." Gavin teased him.

" Yeah,I don't want us to wait,she might regain her memories and if she does,you know what can happen." Raphael's voice was full of dejection.

"Do you mean her human lover?" He touched his sore point.

"Yes Gavin,we both know that that man never loved her. They were using her to strengthen their kingdom." explained Raphael.

'yeah they had somehow learned about her powers and planned to sacrifice her for the prosperity of their kingdom. I wonder how humans could be so cruel." said Gavin.

" Humans though the weakest have the darkest of hearts,driven by greed,they commit even the unimaginable sins, they wouldn't think twice before claiming ones life." said Raphael,his brows furrowed and fists clenched .

" you are right about that." Gavin seconded.

"Okay,as per what we talked about,find time to ask her about it,I believe the earlier the better,that way we can avoid any mishaps in the future." Gavin said his words etched with seriousness.

" Okay I will do that." Raphael said.

" now I will bid you goodbye and accompany my mate back home." Raphael said.

He has never been so eager to head back home like he was now.

home...it sounded so strange in his mind but the word rolled out smoothly like he had been saying it forever.

Ever since she came back from her slumber,he finds it hard to leave her. he just wants to spend time with her. cuddling and roaming his hands all over her.

Night time was his time to go hunting for new innocent souls to taint but now,he prefers to spend his nights with her trapped in her sweet embrace.

He walked out after binding Gavin goodbye he went to look for his Sophia.

He walked past the fish pond and walked towards the garden.

Gavin was always one weirdo,he is into farming and all it's associates. He never understood why a man would be interested in Flowers something Gavin had invested alot of time in. He would extract perfumes from his home grown flowers.

Raphael finally found Sophia seated in a bench staring into nothing. He stood in place to observe her but even after ten minutes,she did not seem to break the Concentration.

On the other hand, Sophia was thinking about Gavin's words. she was contemplating whether to tell him about herself or not . All her life she lacked Love, she was very insecure. She left her world after facing betrayal. No one ever showed her love and even what she had called love had turned out to be being used.

Coming to his world,she was captivated at first sight. you can call it love at first sight. The man had crashed her world, invaded her heart and left her mind stuttering. He had shown her love like never before and she could tell his love was very much genuine.

This is the kind of love she has always dreamt about. a man of her own and nobody else's. She finally got it so was she going to throw everything away just like that. she wondered if he only loved Sophia from the past and if she confesses that she is a totally different person then he might no longer be interested in her nor will he care for her like he does.

She was not ready to let it go,it just started so how could she let it go. Her mind told her that this is the right way but her soul and heart refused it all. she was conflicted.

Raphael moved towards her and lowered himself to her level and back hugged her.

"what are you so engrossed in that you didn't realize my presence,huh?" he questioned softly.

Sophia softly turned and looked directly into his eyes.

" Will you hate me if I am not Sophia?" came her question which shocked him to the core.

"And why do you say that? " After recovering from his shock he asked. he could sense it had something to do with what Gavin told him about something like his mate having a double souled body.

"I mean what if, just what if I happen to be hit whoever you think I am,what if someday,you realize that I am not Sophia,what will you do?"

"You are my Sophia and you'll forever be my love." Raphael answered but Sophia was not convinced at all.

she was all afraid if after learning who she really was he would abandon her. In this new world where she knew no one if he ever abandoned her, what would she do? she didn't even know her way back,not that she wanted to go back but learning the sweetness of love,she dares not wanna let it go.

little did she know that Raphael was the most afraid of her leaving him so her fears and worries were uncalled for. He could sense she did not trust him enough to share all her worries, concerns and secrets with him.

The two lovers were engrossed in their inner sufferings for nothing, lack of communication between the two were causing them inner worries.

"let's just go back home." She said. she didn't want to talk about this topic for now. call her a coward but she didn't care,as long as she could keep him by her side,she'll drag this Truth for as long as she can. maybe after they were fully bonded after completing the mating, maybe then could she tell him all about her. Just because she didn't say it now it doesn't mean she won't be telling him at all. it's just that the time wasn't right.

Raphael was down casted by her decision but what could he do? he could force her to spill the beans. it was her secret afterall.

"okay, let's go." He teleported the both of them and soon enough they appeared in their room.

"How do you even do that,it's so amazing!" gushed the little fan girl.

His powers left her awed.

"it's very simple.' He flashed her a sweet smile but somehow, Sophia could sense he was on low spirits.

"Yeah simple!" she retorted back.

"I will teach you if you want." He told her.

"Really!" You could smell her overflowing eagerness.

"Yeah,I'll teach you after you wake up, you go take a nap first." He informed her.

Her enthusiasm died all of a sudden.

"Why do I need to sleep?' she begrudgingly asked.

"it has been a long and tiring day, sleep first my love. we have lots of time in our hands,it's a lifetime remember?" mischief clearly flashing in his eyes.
