Sophia was surprised even by herself. That voice was too sweet but she guessed that was the way the previous Sophia interacted with her father.

" it's been long my dear,you've grown a lot." Her father said twirling her daughter around like the princess she was making her giggle.

To Sophia this was a completely new experience. Her father back at her world never treated her this way, forget about even twirling her around,he never had time to talk to her properly.

She can't remember if she ever had a one to one talk with her father. He was busy with his company or spending time with his mistress.

She thanked heavens for giving her yet another chance to experience the love she never got in her past life.

" Come my dear, have a seat. I know your visit is not because you missed your father." Her father said.

It seems he was aware of the reason she came to visit.

" How did you know that?" Sophia asked. She knew it was a silly question to ask but she still asked it.

" How did I know? it's simple. When you arrived at the gates of the palace,i got to be informed. So I have been waiting for you but you went to visit your mother first,so that directly tells me that my daughter's visit today is related to the Queen." Her father explained and she couldn't agree any less.

The main reason for visiting her kingdom was to get answers concerning her mother's true identity.

" You are right father, I came here to clarify some things with you, especially about mother." Said Sophia seriously.

The atmosphere turned serious and Sophia could see that her father was not comfortable discussing matters about his wife but even so she needed answers and only her father could provide those.

" We had talked about my powers and how to unseal them, I have been working on how to do that. Today I went to formally ask my now master to train me and that's where I discovered that my roots are not pure.

She said that I was possessing two different types of powers that were clashing against each other seeking dominant. If I remember well, everyone knows that my mother was a human girl while your identity is hidden. It is understandable that I have angelic powers but what about the second set of powers in my body? Where did they come from?" Sophia explained and posed the question that has been bothering her all this while.

Looking at his daughter who was waiting patiently for his explanation, Michael felt that maybe telling the truth would harm his precious daughter.

That was something he dreaded but then again, that was not his decision to solely make. He was very much aware why his daughter wanted to awaken her powers but even so,as a parent,he was worried.

" I don't know where to start my dear. Your mother and me have been married for many years. When she was the Queen of the kingdom, nothing was fishy about her. She acted like any normal human girl and even as an angel and among the beings with the highest smell identification power,I could not smell anything from her. When we had you, your mother was very protective of you. He would not let you leave the palace premises nor allow you to roam around the kingdom . She would not let me take you with me in any banquets I was invited. One day I questioned her and she said as a member of the Royal family,you were not safe and could be attacked or someone could use you as a leverage to get to me. I believed her so I started protecting you as well.

Around Three hundred years ago, your mother started acting weird. She would look troubled and was very paranoid. She would not let anyone near you if that particular person was a stranger, this time I was too busy with the matters of the kingdom to pay attention to such things until one evening, I was in my office doing some work when someone invaded my mind. I could hear someone growling in pain and some faint whispers.

I concentrated to pick up any words and that's when I heard your mother talking to some people who I believe were his assailants.

" Even if I die here today,I will never let you acquire my essence. I will drag all of you down with me." She said,her tone completely different from the Queen I have always known." Her Father paused.

" That's when I knew that your mother was in trouble, so without wasting time,I started looking for her. I was aware that she wasn't anywhere around the kingdom because the mind link was weak and that only meant One thing,she was away from me. I Left with my two trusted men to look for her and after almost an hour,I arrived to where she was. I had resulted to unleashing my powers just to look for her,but when I arrived,it was too late." Her father said and a lone tear slipped from his eyes.

" I found your mother lying on the ground wounded. Though she was still alive,her life was hanging on a thread. My first instincts told me to rush her to the hospital but she said there's no need for that.

" I am sorry for lying to you all my life but I had no choice. To live,I had to disguise myself. I am leaving this world but before that, promise to take care of my daughter. I already transferred my essence to her so her life might be in danger. I have sealed her powers so the seal you placed on her is tampered with, only she can break the seal if ever she needs the powers." " That was what your mother told me.

She also gave me a letter with the instructions that only you can open it and after that she completed vanished. I watched helplessly as my wife turned into ash " Her father finished.
