Stay or Leave
When I woke up Oculus was sitting beside me already smiling like a kid who'd just won candy
In all honesty ...it was creepy
"Freak are you looking at creep" I looked towards the window noticing it was dark out
"Did you know you talk in your sleep?" Oculus raised an eyebrow his smile growing even wider
"Oh no What did I say please tell me it was nothing bad" i flung the covers off of me sitting up but quickly pulled them back up when I felt the cool breeze hit me
"Wellllll" he raised his eyebrows twice at me " you said I'm a sexy, hot piece of meet with wings" my face instantly started to get hot with embarrassment so I put my hands over my cheeks
"Annndd you said something about wings and dipping me in sauce and then you started licking your lips in your sleep which was hilarious by the way and I just couldn't help but laugh a bit when you woke up hell that was hilarious" he laughed out loud clutching his stomach at my embarrassed state
"Anyways Scar" he wiped away the tears from laughing so hard "Your..,"he stopped and stared at me and burst out laughing again "I cannot believe you said that..dip me in sauce"he clutched his stomach wheezing while I stared at him with a blank face
"Ok ok I'm done" he wiped his tears eyes once more "your...mom is on her way so you have to get up and get ready" his voice held distaste when explaining that my so called mom was coming
"I bought you some more clothing because you barely had any
My mood instantly lightened at the thought of more clothing sure my family was rich but I really started to dislike shopping honesty my legs and feet always disagreed with the thought of having to move me around
" hopefully you like them they are in the closet" he stood up from the bed "call my name once you finish changing I will appear and then I can summon your mom" and with that he disappeared from the room
Wasting no time I ran over to the closet eager to find out what he'd bought me and I was utterly shocked when I saw a whole rack filled with sportswear, another with beautiful dresses of all sorts, another had casual clothing and I had some shoes underneath them
Grabbing the sports wear with a beaming smile I quickly slid into the pretty outfit striped outfit
After rushing to the bathroom and eyeing myself in the mirror I started to comb my hair down starting at the ends working my way up so I didn't hurt my scalp when I finished with that I brushed my hair and began to braid it into two French braids
After I came from inside the bathroom i plopped down on the bed and summoned Oculus
"You ready....please say no" his face morphed into one of disappointment when I began doing the exact opposite of what he wanted and nodded he looked like a puppy who'd lost its favorite toy
"Here goes nothing" he cleared his throat and rolled his shoulders back "Aldonay come forth" his voice boomed throughout the room I ignored the goosebumps that ran up my spine and the tingling in my lower region
Once again a burst of golden light filled the room leaving me to tightly close my eyes until the light dimmed down a bit
"Hello Scarlett" Adonay smiled down at me
"Angel"I nodded towards her
Im going to get straight to the point being I don't have much time down here"she smiled and say beside me
"Scarlett you are my daughter as you know, you are also the chosen for Lucifer" she paused and took a deep breath "there will be a war soon one where there is a 2% chance of you making it out alive" she wiped a stray tear that had fallen from her face "a long time ago me and your father did something we weren't supposed to do...we mated even when It was forbidden to have a relationship with a human because I am an angel...I loved your father dearly and disobeyed the law" Oculus began shaking his leg and I began to worry about what was next to come
"I soon found out I was pregnant..with you but since me and your dad were never supposed to conceive a child when you were born you were to be killed-instantly"I gasped at what she'd just told me how could someone be so cruel
Pretty cruel for heaven to be so pure but it was the law, I went down to earth to tell your father the news only to be welcomed by another angel Seraphine she told me that the lord himself had sent her down to tell me that you were not only a chosen for Lucifer but you were probably going to die in the war that is to take place she told me there was a 2% chance of you living and gave me her condolences no one knows when this war exactly is or where it will take place but once I had you I could live with you until your 5th birthday then me and your father were to be called to heaven and receive our punishment for breaking the rules" she looked down sadly a single golden tear falling to the floor
"Me and your father were to suffer in hell for 10 years we had to be tied to a pole over a fire and feel as our skin melted away from our bodies our bones were broken only to be popped back and broken again our wings were not to be clipped but to be stripped of us temporarily, it was quite a lenient punishment but a punishment overall, even though the punishment was horrid I never regretted having you or loving your father and now we are able to be together in heaven unlike me he was not able to come and visit you though, we wanted to see you so badly Scar we never wanted to leave you I swear we were so heart broken" she inhaled and exhaled calming herself "Scarlett you must know you can't blame him but I must tell you this because it's a key part of whether you will stay or run from him... Oculus was to .."
"ENOUGH!!!" Oculus interrupted her
"No oculus you know that he said I must include this I have no choice I've forgiven you and so can she" Adonay's melodic voice was now raising a bit it held dominance and no room for arguing but Oculus did the exact opposite
