Arielle Is Awake

"Moon Goddess?" Arielle looked at the man curiously. "Who is she? Is she my mother who abandoned me and left me all alone?"

The old man chuckled a little seeing Arielle's confused face.

"The Moon Goddess is not a name. She is an entity that blesses us to maintain the balance of the earth. Your mother was one of her children… but unfortunately, we found her too late because she passed away before we could help her."

Arielle's heart felt like it was torn when she heard the man's words.

"My mother… is gone?" she asked in a trembling voice. Her hopes to find the woman who had given birth to her were crushed in an instant. Arielle's face turned red and tears fell down her cheeks.

The man looked at Arielle sadly.

"Don't be sad. Your mother loved you very much even while you were in her womb." The man's words made Arielle rub her face roughly.
