Preface: Last day of the honeymoon
Lucien, her new husband said he hated her. He berated her until he was hoarse and walked out.
Starlet stared at the paper evidence of what her father had done. What she had allowed to be done by keeping quiet and going forward with the wedding.
Lucien, her husband of less than a week had left the room in a rage. When he confronted her about knowing about her father's deed she had not denied it. She couldn't. When she found out she thought that she could show him how sincere her love for him was and he would learn to love her. Her whole life had been nothing but love for him. But he hated her. Hated how her father and by extension, she herself had used her power to trap him into marriage. She crumbled the paper in her hand. She will be the perfect wife for him. He would see how perfect she was for him. She would make him love her. She had everything she wanted under the moon and the sun except his love but she would get it. Loving Lucien is all she would do until he sees reason.
If she loved him enough he would love her back. He had to... he just had to.
This book has been in my pocket for nearly 10 years. I have written it in a note book I lost that in a move and then written the first six chapters in microsoft office. Over the years mentally it evolved into what I feel is the most mature version of my writing so far. I will not be using that old version in my pc but will write this from scratch with a clear vision of where I want to take it.
My writing is me feeling an emotion and puting it in words. I hote you smile when I smile, Cry where I cried, and laugh even if I didn't. I hope you enjoy.
