CHAPTER 21

It's been two weeks since kelly and joseph approved of the fact that they were dating. On Kelly's side, peter was mad at her and has been ignoring her since that day and it was making her faustrated.

"Why has he refused to talk to me? did I do something wrong?" She mumbled to herself then she shook her head and sighed. "No I shouldn't be worried, I promised not to make any friends, this is for the better. But why am I bothered about it." After thinking about it for sometime she decided to talk to him.

Meanwhile, peter was waiting for her to make a move. If he was really her friend she would have taken the initiative to talk to him, why is it taking forever for her to do so?" he sighed.

maria has been thinking of a way to handle her sister, but she didn't want to make any move so that joseph won't become suspicious of her. She had to lay low for now, at least until lydia makes a move.

Meanwhile, lydia had already thought of a way to handle kelly but she had to take one step at a time so she would enjoy it as kelly goes down and come to her begging. "kelly, let's see how long you can act strong," she thought as she smirked.

Joseph has been waiting for his aunt to do something, but she hasn't made any move. Melanie was not one to take such a Long time before she does anything, he wondered what she was plotting now.

Kelly who was sitting with him noticed that he had been absent minded all day. They were the only ones in class since it was lunchbreak.

Ever since the day kelly told joseph that she didn't want to go to the cafeteria, he had been coming to her class with food to eat, kelly was against it at first but he was a stubborn mule so she gave in.

" Joseph, what's is wrong you've been absent minded all day,are you okay?" she asked looking worried.

Joseph just stared at her and smiled. "I can't help but be happy around you, I know it is selfish of me to think about my happiness before your safety. But I promise to do everything I can to protect you and make you happy." He thought to himself. "I'm okay, you don't need to worry," He said while reaching out to hold her hand.

Kelly felt reassured, and she didn't reject him when he held her hand. He has been doing things like this ever since they started the dating issues and to be honest she actually liked it.

Lydia who stood outside glared at them. She actually came to find joseph because he stopped coming to the cafeteria, that was when she saw them together acting intimate and she hated it. She swore to make Kelly's life a living hell.
