Chapter 28: Mr. Lopez

Astrid recuperated in the hospital, but she was not at ease.

“Why are you coming back?” Glory didn’t expect that she would see Astrid in RC tonight. “You are not well yet.”

“Glory, it’s okay. I’ve had enough rest.” Astrid had been thinking about her debt. “Glory, I’m well. Can I… please, Glory, can you get me an assignment? I can do anything.”

“You…” Glory looked at Astrid, humble and stubborn, and couldn’t open her mouth to refuse her.

She sighed. “Okay, I’ll go and have a look.”

“Glory.” Astrid said to Glory as she was about to leave the room, “thank you so much.” And then, she lowered her head quickly.

Glory was confused. Did she mistake it that Astrid blushed?

Astrid blushed?

But why did she blush? What Glory had done was no trouble at all.

She was so humble and frightened that she blushed and thanked nervously for this little thing.
