Suspicious

 She tries her best to stop him from going, but Alex has made up his mind.

“Alex where are you coming from?” Sandra at the door sobbing and Alex walked up to her wrapping his hand around her.

“I’m sorry, I..I. I went to see a friend, I have to hurry back home as soon as I realized is late.”

Sandra looked into his eyes and knew he was lying.

“Don’t you love me again Alex! Don’t lie to me, tell me and I will leave”

"What?, no!, you can’t leave me, I love you with my life”, he said and pull Sandra to himself wrapping his hands around her.

"Please don’t say you want to leave me ever again, do you want me to die?” he ask and Sandra reached out for his face.

“Please don’t die, I will never leave”

“Thank you,” he kisses her, takes her to the bed, and starts kissing her all over.

“Stop, Alex stop” she pushes him away.

“Why?”

“You have to tell me where you’re  coming from”

"But I told you already, let's call Jack, he will tell you if am lying”

“No, if you are at Jack's place, then Clara will know, so let’s call Clara instead,” Sandra said.

“So you don’t believe me, and you don’t believe Jack too, perfect!” he said raising an eyebrow, his heart starts to beat.

“That’s not what I’m saying,” Sandra said as Alex tries to make her feel guilty for not trusting him.

"Fine, go on, call her” he handed her his phone hoping and wishing Clara’s phone to go off but it didn’t, the call went through.

"Is Alex, why is he calling by this time?” Clara asks Jack.

“I don’t know, just answer the phone."

“Hello, Alex you are no longer a baby stop calling me” Clara starts to yell at the phone making Sandra smile.

Clara is always like that, treating Alex like a kid.

“Is me Sandra not Alex?” she said looking up at Alex as he stares at her curious to hear what kind of questions she will ask Clara.

“What! Where is Alex” Clara asked getting up from her seat? And Jack follows her to get up. They got worried instantly at why Sandra was using Alex's phone to call.

They thought something bad has happened to him.

“Alex is here with me”

“Oh… thank goodness” they breathe a sigh of relief.

“Did Alex come to visit you guys today?” she asks Clara.

“What! What did you say?” Clara ask and turned to look at Jack.

"Give me the phone” Jack took the phone from Clara because he heard the question.

"Hello, Sandra is me, Jack, Alex was just leaving my house not long ago, I’m sorry if I made you worry, is my fault for keeping him so long."

“Is okay” Sandra said but Clara was on the phone.

“Sandra, are you okay?”

“Yes I’m fine”

“What happened?” she asks

"Is nothing serious, I just wanted to know if Alex was with you guys till this hour.”

“Yeah, yes, yes, he was here,” Clara said and Jack gave her a thumbs up.

“I will stop by tomorrow to check up on you,” Clara said and hangs up the phone.
