Chapter 51

Brian finds it difficult to face Alex because he thought that Alex has something that belongs to him.

All of a sudden he has develop interest in Sandra, he needs her like never before, making it hard to face his friend.

But on the other hand Alex was thinking for letting Sandra go and asking Brian to take good care of her.

Sandra keeps looking at her phone to see if she will receive any text message from Alex but none came.

“What could be the problem? Is Alex ignoring me? could Brian be right that Alex is a playboy? But she hasn’t done anything with him yet, so why will he ignore her like that.” The thoughts keeps flooding her mind.

She felt a hand on her shoulders and she turn around to see who it is.

“Brain what do you want?” “I want to take to you” “about what?” she ask with a straight face not wanting to hear anything from Brian, the memory of what he did to her keeps flowing back whenever she sees him. What Brian did to her was not expected but he did it anyways.

“I want to ask you for your forgiveness” “I’ve forgiven you a long time ago, but what I don’t understand is why you want to stop me from been with Alex, I thought he is your friend. Are you jealous of him?” Sandra ask standing tell in front of Brian making his face turn red in embarrassment.

“No, am not jealous of him, is just that I now realize how much I love you” he said making Sandra laugh.

“You don’t mean that, I know you were ashamed of me because of your class of friends, but not Alex, he loves me just the way I am”

Alex and James stopped their car a meter away from Brian, he wasn’t surprise that Brian wants Sandra because Jack has already told him, but he was wondering if he could handle it seeing Sandra with Brian, he knew letting her go was the right thing to do but a part of him was so selfish to let her go.

Let’s go home” Alex told Jack. “what? Are you saying that you are giving up like that?” jack ask Alex not because he really want Alex dating Sandra but because he wants Brian to feel the pains he felt when he took Katharine from him.

Look, you can’t just give up like that, Sandra is the girl that makes you happy, so why let go just like that” he said not knowing how that statement affects Alex.

Is true that Sandra is the only light in Alex life, everything has turn dark, he couldn’t see what the future holds for him if Sandra is not in his world.

“How did you know” Alex ask Jack “What? Know what?” “ that Sandra is the only girl that gives me joy?”

“Well… em..em..em.. I know because when I send her to you the other day, I thought you will be angry but instead you were smiling from ear to ear”
