3 Problems come in pairs

As Ruby got to her office, her Mother was waiting in her office just as she expected. Her Mother was not known for her patience so she wasn't really surprised to see her Mother in her office and she was ready for what she had to say.

The blinds automatically closed as she walked inside. "I know what you want to say and I'm not interested " Ruby said just to rile up Mrs lee .

"You're not interested, when everybody keeps calling for emergency meetings,now I have to seat in a meeting room all day from tomorrow and listen to the complaints of people who have made the least contribution into making my company what it is today all because of you" Mrs lee snapped trying not to raise her voice.

"Date him,sign the contract and break up. your words, my actions. so don't sit there and judge me like you share no part in the blame" Ruby said and this got Mrs Lee even more offended as she pushed the chair back and sprang up to walk towards Ruby.

"I've heard you say all sorts of things but this is truly the most stupid thing you've ever said to me, you don't even sound like you. I don't even know what to do with you because right now all you do is cause problems and your problems come in pairs. I just hope this doesn't affect the stock market or I'll have to deal with the stockholders and stupid public opinions....." Mrs lee was interrupted by the opening of the door and Yeong walked into the office.

"You're being too harsh, all you had to do was help find solutions not point accusing fingers or make cold statements " Yeong said in defense of his sister.

"You're going to just support her right?" Mrs Lee asked not really expecting an answer as she already knew.

"I've taken care of the strategy meeting, let's take care of the board members tomorrow " Yeong said to his Mother.

Mrs Lee took her bag from the table and stormed out of the office.

"I'm sorry you had to hear that " Yeong said. he had heard most of what was said to Ruby and the thought of her listening to more of it broke his heart, he really felt bad for his sister who for the past three years did nothing but work her way up to the CEO position she held right now. Although her achievements were remarkable, a lot of people did not agree with the position she held and not so surprisingly most of her haters were members of the board. These board members were like wolfs hunting her in several packs.

"Don't keep apologizing, it's not your fault " Ruby said and went to sit down

"You're a really strong person and I know that by tomorrow You're going to do what you always do 'excelling ', I believe in you " Yeong said.

"Did you buy that house ?" Ruby asked in attempt to change the topic.

"Mrs Lee did, she always does what she wants anyways" Yeong said

"I'll be in my office finishing up some work" he said and left .

Typical Yeong, always thinking about others, giving his best to help everyone but not giving any mind to his own problems. She wished she could do something for him too, but at this point it was too late to do anything for him.

She felt her phone ring and a look at the screen she gave a small smile and immediately answered the call.

"You crazy bitch, how dare you be so careless and of all people you had to make your breakup with Jay public, seems like you haven't been apprehended in public by all of his crazy fans. What were you even thinking letting that jobless reporter get one on you. I should really send my people to deal with her. " Zen snapped from the other end of the phone without even letting Ruby say a word.

"She can't be jobless if shes a reporter right? " Ruby joked trying to calm Zen as she could hear the anger in her voice.

"Are you okay? I really hoped Jay would be the one since he was the best suitor so far" Zen said as her voice immediately shifted from anger to concern.

"He was the best right" Ruby simply replied not sure if she had even rated Jay. Now that she thought about it he was the only person who wasn't concerned about her family background,he truly respected and he also had a way to read her mind.

"What now ? place don't tell me you are thinking about him" Zen said to her friend who was deeply lost in her thoughts.

Ruby felt her heart skip a beat at the mention of him. Zen made it sound like she was still talking about Jay, but they both knew better who 'him' was.

He was the only man who was capable of handling her heavy heart, the man who caused a storm in her still heart. the man she had kept herself from thinking about in three years .

"Oh never mind I'll just call you back when You're less occupied. but I really hope you can take care of yourself " Zen said and hung up the phone.

Ruby slowly dropped the phone on her table and sighed. It was really nice to hear from Zen but she always had a way of reminding her of the past. The past that she would give anything to erase. The past that had Kim Zayn in it.
