She ain't no genius and only knows the language of fight, but what'll she do when fate decides to entangle her with a brilliant CEO of the company she works in? Would they make a match or would their secret love story will only get limited to 'close friends'? This sweet and spicy story consists of our protagonists Ayana, an ordinary office employee in disguise, and Eric, a genius cold hearted CEO of the company she works in. It was in the bar of an office party, when they both met each other for the first time. But as time progressed, their connections grew deeper and slowly things began to change. With Eric's help, she got to see the true face of her ex-boyfriend while he on the other side got to explore multiple emotions within his heart that he has been suppressing for so long. They were a perfect match for each other, but will that day ever come when they'll confess their feelings and truly become a couple? Unfortunately, the thought seemed impossible as what intervened within was their polar opposite world. While one shined bright in the sky, the other lived in the dark burrows underground. Will this relationship ever be called successful? Or just like her past, Ayana will once again have to suffer from a broken heart. Indulge yourself in this fluffy novel and explore the characters with your own thoughts. PS: this is a slow paced novel with very little R-18 scenes at beginning, but as the story progresses the steamy scenes will soon come to a rise. I request your patience. Somewhere deep in the forest, a hooting sound of an owl can be heard echoing in the middle of the night. And Ayana can't help it but count them as she's unable to sleep. Her body isn't tired enough to go for an another nap, making her stare at the ceiling like a wide-eyed maniac.
She has already lost her count multiple times, all thanks to those sudden random thoughts popping in between.
"Sigh. This is getting nowhere."
Carefully and steadily, she somehow got up on her own feet.
Maybe a glass of water will ease out the dryness in her throat and help her sleep?
But the jar wasn't filled enough to quench her thirst.
"Guess I'll have to take a stroll up to the kitchen then." The idea seemed nice, so she went ahead. Except that on her way to return, she took the wrong turn and ended up in an altogether new section of this second floor which she didn't realise existed before.
