Chapter 14

The movie started and Alex insisted on offering the fruit and sandwiches to Camilla, who, at one point, just opened her mouth, without even looking at him.

"I feel ashamed for Darcy." Alex commented, when the character Mr. Darcy met Lizzy and was about to ask her to marry him Camilla looked at Alex, puzzled.

"Do you know what happens?" She asked. Alex clicked on 'stop'.

"But of course I do! I even thought that scene in the rain was really good. But when he walks into the Collins house in the 1995 miniseries, it's also wonderful." Camilla stared at Alex, as if a new head had grown in him. "What?" He asked.

"Do you like that kind of movie?" Camilla asked.

"Yes, Miss Bakers. I am a very sensitive man." Alex said, placing a hand on his chest. "I like classic literature, which includes, of course, Jane Austen."
