Maid's Quarters

Vionna sat back down after Catherine made her way her upstairs. She heard Catherine said someone will come brief her about her work, is she supposed to wait or...?. She will just wait anyway.

She landed her back on the sofa. The moment Catherine left, her Bad vibe seemed to have gone with her, according to Vionna's thought.

She comfortably sat on the sofa this time, spreading her hands around massaging it's body to get a feel of it texture. "Mmmmh very soft." She moaned in satisfaction with her eyes closed.

Almost immediately, a sound was coming from behind her, and just before she could turn around to see who it was, the person had already made his presence infront her.

Vionna eyed him from casually, she wondered who he was. From his dressing and the way he carries himself, he do not look like a worker. He had a huge build and a physique of a fighter.

Vionna ran her eyes all the way through his muscles with astonishment. When she realized she was being to obvious, she immediately cleared her throat and blinked numerous before she gave him her attention.

Vionna wondered If she is supposed to stand or keep sitting. But the fact that she is not the owner of the house popped up in her mind, directly bringing her back to her senses. Without further ado, she stood with her hands clasp behind her back.

And just like that, the person Infront of her spoke up in a deep frightening voice. "The Mrs said, I should direct you to the young Master's bedroom and enlightened you on your work in the Liu residence. Follow me."

He immediately turn on heels without waiting for her. 'What's wrong with him?' Vionna whispered with a slight raise of her lips before she immediately charged on and followed his trails.

She got the chance to view the whole Manor, it was more than she expected. She never even dreamt of being in this kind of place in this life time of hers. Her lips were parted in awe. "Wow!" Was all she kept muttering when they passed every corner. She felt like she finally knows what heaven looks like.

"Here." The man's voice broke her out from her daze making her a little bit angry from cuttings their tour short.

"Huh." She needed a repeat of what he said as she didn't catch it the first time.

"This is the young Master's bedroom." And again he said.

"So? I work here?" She asked furrowing her brows funnily.

"Not technically but yes you do." He replied.

Vionna wasn't expecting him to reply to her question, She gave him a glance from bottom to top. She could see he had a cold and stern expression. She was expecting to be ignored through out.

She nodded slightly. "Alright so?." She queried.

He dipped his hands into his trouser pocket and brought something out, he handed it over to her. It was a key. "This is the key to the bedroom. No one except you is to have this. The young master has a thing for cleanliness, he doesn't appreciate dirt and filth. So do your job properly, and you might get rewarded.

After hearing the last part of the statement, Vionna quickly jerked her head with a huge smile. "Really?" She excitingly squeal. Only to get ignored and walked out upon.

'Huh' She couldn't help but say. "Wait! I didn't get your name." She shouted when his back was almost disappearing from her sight.

And immediately he heard her he halted. "Kai." Without turning back he answered and then continued his steps away.

"Weird." She scoffed.

She lifted up the key in her hands and her eyebrows twitched. "Why is it a single key?, Do they not know I'm careless. I have to find a bunch to place this." She said in whispers to prevent anyone from hearing. She don't want to be fired on the same day she got the Job.

"Hi there, I am Mia. I will show you the maids quarters and where you will be staying for the time being."

The voice startled her. She released her breath with a hand on her chest before replying with a nod.

After Mia got her reply, "Please follow me." She said smiling.

'Now that's some politeness, hmmm.' Vionna murmured in a low tone comparing Mia's attitude to Kai's.

"Sorry did you say something." Mia turned to ask with a smile.

"No no, you heard wrong." Vionna reciprocated with a sheepish smile.

"Oh alright then this way." She continued to lead the way.

"Sure." Vionna followed suit.

After approximately twelve minutes, they both arrived at a different corner of the mansion. They followed a pathway leading straight to a huge entrance.

Vionna was all smiles on the outside, but inwardly she was screaming with tiredness. 'Where is the damn place! how long does it take. So I'm gonna be walking from here to the Young master's bedroom! Oh my Gosh! How many times a day? No no no TT.' She could feel the invisible tears already strolling down her cheeks.

"Here we are."

Mia's voice broke her off, she immediately widen her already wide smile tilting her head to the sides.

"This is the maids quarters, You will be residing here for the time being." Mia continued with hand gestures.

Vionna eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing right now. She was hoping to come insight with a lowly and wretched place. She blinked several times, maybe her eyes was seeing something else But it was the same view over and over again.

"You mean I will be staying here, like right here?" She asked with pointing inside.

"Yeah, this is where we all stay but since you have a higher rank than us, you will get a personal room inside this same quarters." Mia explained.

"You don't like it?" Mia misunderstood her with that inexplicable looking expression she had on.

"No no I don't mean that, this is too nice and generous to not like right?." Vionna said laughing sheepishly.

The whole place was looking too good to be true. This do not look like a place where maids live. It was designed prettily, with many devices kept for fun and entertainment. Who on Earth has a TV, A/C, Microwave and so on, in their maids quarters. Such privileges are blessings.

"When you said higher ranked what did you mean?." Vionna questioned Mia.

"You will be the personal maid of the young Master once he returns. And of course that's a huge one. Oh I almost forgot, Congratulations and welcome." Mia said with a genuine smile.

"Thank you." Vionna replied appreciatively.

Mia responded with a nod.

"Come I will introduce you." She continued inside with Vionna following behind.
