It was late when she woke up, there was no class today being Saturday because they'll be leaving for the military camp tomorrow, the principal excused them from learning today so they can prepare.

" Yes, who is it? Come in" she groaned, rubbing her eyes.

Chen Xiao entered," Morning dear" he greeted.

" Dad! M-Morning dad" Delilah quickly got out of bed.

" Hope you slept well?"

" Yes dad"

" That's good, since you woke up late, I can guess you have no class today. In case of that, we will be going to C city today, just the two of us. We are going to have our father-daughter time" Chen Xiao declared.

Shock then excitement, Delilah hopped like a kangaroo, "Really!?"

" Yes, so dress up quick, we will be leaving soon, alright?"

" Alright dad, thank you!"

Delilah came down the stairs dressed in a periwinkle blue turtleneck and stirrups overall jeans, accompanied by black canvas, a pair of transparent glasses over her eyes, her long black hair was brushed to a side with blue hairpins. She was carrying a fashionable black backpack.

After breakfast, the headed out. Today was a special day, a day dedicated solely to him and his beloved daughter, Delilah. The engine purred as Chen Xiao and Delilah settled into the car, anticipation bubbling in the air.

C City awaited them, promising a day filled with father-daughter bonding and cherished memories.
