Chapter 40

　　Ethan's POV:

　　After I took her, I immediately went to the hospital where Katie was, Evan told me that she was awake and looking for me so I was shaken. I would have liked to go with Madelyn first but she preferred not to be with me and I understood. Maybe she needs more time with her family so I'll let her there first.

　　I got off and immediately went inside, I saw the nurses and some doctors busy. I really wonder why Vlad is here, I really don’t understand. I took a deep breath and tapped Evan who was outside.

　　"How is she?" I will ask.

　　"She's fine and Vlad is talking to her," he said in a calm voice.

　　I took a deep breath. "Why is Vlad here? I don't understand," I replied in a startled voice.

　　His face was more serious so I stared at him even more, he sighed and I looked at Vlad who had just come out. He was still surprised but also calmed down eventually.

　　"She's finding you." I saw the pain and sadness in his eyes so I was even more surprised.
