Collin's P.O.V.

I was helping my mom do the dishes when I got a phone call from Andy. Normally, she would have texted me first before and it wasn't normally a call: we Facetimed. So, I answered it and stepped into my room away from prying ears of parents. I had a weird conversation with a guy who definitely was not Andy. Not as beautiful as her voice, as cute as her laugh. But he sounded serious and concerned so I knew it was bad. Andy had mentioned going to a college buddy's game and now I was kicking myself in the head for not going with her. I should have been there. I could have helped or offered protection or at least done something. As soon as I got off the phone I was grabbing my keys and throwing some slides on. I know stupid considering it's getting into fall and the colder weather but there was no time to fumble with socks.

"Mom, Dad, it's Andy. I'll be back soon and she's spending the night!"
