Lover's Quarrel

"Let me go, you stupid bastard!" Fyre struggled from the hug while his tears streamed down in frustration. He was determined to leave and avoid the two from now on but he didn't expect Mo Tian Zi to suddenly chase and hug him from the back.

"Alright, you won! I admit that wearing those clothes was unnecessary. I just wanted to see you in those clothes and...m-maybe tease you a little bit," Tian Zi admitted. There was a little blush on his cheeks feeling embarrassed that he is being forced to admit his crimes because no one had ever forced him to do so but for some reason, having Fyre to act like this made him feel uneasy. He simply couldn't leave him alone the way he is.

"You fucker! I knew it! Why are you so mean to me?" Fyre yelled in frustration, pulling away from Tian Zi's hug and later faced him crying. He didn't like crying but he couldn't help it. All the frustration he experienced for the past days is now making him too emotional for his comfort. It's not like he hated wearing female clothing that much. Well, he hates it to a certain point that is why he was upset that day and was even more upset that Tian Zi didn't admit what he did but that's definitely just not the reason why he was crying. He's being too emotional for no apparent reason and he hates it. He hated himself for it.

"I'm sorry... please don't cry... I won't do it again, I promise," Tian Zi mumbled awkwardly. He honestly had never been good at dealing with people crying. It feels really uncomfortable and it's making him feel guilty whether it was his fault or not. And to begin with, he never thought Fyre would hate wearing female clothing so much that he would cry like this since he used to wear one. But of course, he wouldn't tell Fyre that he knew that he used to be raised as a female Omega or else things would definitely get out of hand than it already is.

"I didn't know you would hate it that much... I promise I won't do it again, just stop crying..." Tian Zi said almost begging as he held Fyre's shoulders trying to console him.

"Fuck you! Ever since we met, you did nothing but make me feel so angry and frustrated. Even causing abnormal reactions to my body. You're such a bad influence!" Fyre yelled again but it came out like a whine because of his crying. Tian Zi who was observing the crying Omega surprisingly found it adorable but again, he would never say that to Fyre so he just pulled the Omega again into his arms and hugged him tightly. Fyre tried to struggle at first but later on, he gave up and continued crying in frustration because no matter what did, it felt like he could never defeat Tian Zi. For the record, he never did even though he tried so hard.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I admit it so don't cry anymore, okay? I would never do it again," Tian Zi replied defeatedly, knowing that it was the only thing that could calm Fyre at this moment. Earlier, Jonathan was right. They can't be fighting over such useless things and they should just focus on what's important. Additionally, although it wasn't his entire fault that Fyre's body condition had become unstable, for now, he will take full blame since it is true that his pheromone was also one of the reasons why the Omega's body kept fluctuating.

"But, can we please talk about this in the car or back home? People are now starting to stare at us, and it might be dangerous for us to be here now," Tian Zi said again and this time looked around them to see people indeed staring at them. He could also even see some of the bystanders taking videos of them like they were lovers in a quarrel. He especially didn't like to be mistaken with such thoughts, so Tian Zi soon let go of Fyre and later wiped the Omega's tears with his thumb, not knowing that this very action just made him look like an actual boyfriend solacing his upset lover.

"Come on, stop crying now. Do you want me to buy you ice cream or something?" Tian Zi suggested not knowing what to do. He just remembered how his Older brother Laotian would comfort Daniel whenever he was upset and it works like wonders to the Omega so he thought maybe it would work towards Fyre as well.

"Stupid! Do I look like a child to you?" Fyre roared and this time he finally wiped his own tears slapping Tian Zi's hand away and later crossed his arms, trying to ignore the fact that people are indeed looking at them as if they were actors filming a movie. He doesn't consider himself an introvert but being looked at is definitely not something he enjoyed.

"Oh...Uhmm? What do you want then? I'll buy it for you, anything, " Tian Zi asked awkwardly, scratching his nape not expecting Fyre would reject his offer but as he thought of it, ice cream didn't always work to Daniel but when Older Brother said the magic word which was he would buy or do anything, Daniel would always smile in satisfaction. Surely, Fyre is the same and there should be almost nothing that he couldn't provide. It may not look like it but there's also a lot of money under his name. It's not something he's proud of because it's the money he inherited from his family and his brothers' money but it's not like he wasn't comfortable spending a few thousand or even millions.

Tian Zi stared at Fyre expectantly and confidently which caused the Omega to frown and later raise one of his eyebrows. It's as if the Alpha was truly sure Fyre would feel better at the offer but of course, that's just Tian Zi's wishful thoughts because even though Fyre isn't particularly rich, he wasn't lacking in anything wanted. He may look unreliable but he's very good at providing himself with all the things he wanted and needed with just a few taps on his computer.

"I don't want anything. What do you take me for?" Fyre said further raising his brow and rolled his eyes in annoyance. Somehow he didn't like being treated as if buying him something would immediately make him feel better.

"Anyway, let's get out of here. These people are starting to get on my nerves," Fyre said in a scuff and quickly went ahead to the car leaving Tian Zi standing there dumbfounded not expecting that he would be rejected again. He had never tried to comfort or offer anything to an Omega before and he never thought it would happen to him anytime in the future but when it did, he never thought he would feel this disappointed being ignored. In the first place, why was he even trying so desperately to comfort the Omega? This wasn't entirely his fault! If Fyre just learned how to control his emotions, none of this useless quarrel would have happened.

'This damn family curse again!' Tian Zi hissed in his mind, cursing his ancestors for making him so soft for Omegas before finally following Fyre into the car as well.

After the whole scene, the ride to one of Tian Zi's condominiums was silent. None of them tried to talk to each other. However, it didn't seem to bother all three of them because each of them was busy thinking of their own circumstances. Even when they arrived and were trailing the way to the building and to Tian Zi's place, none of them had tried to break the ice. All three of them remained in deep thought and simply had no energy to talk and argue.

Fyre, who was earlier crying, is now busy scolding himself in his mind for acting so damn immature and for actually feeling a little comforted when Tian Zi chased after him and tried to console him. Furthermore, he wanted to slap himself for even following the Alpha again to his place when he decided to avoid him. Fyre could no longer understand himself. On the other hand, Tian Zi, aside from him completely focused on the road during his drive and now his eyes to his leg as it took each of his steps, half of him kept finding the answers to the questions that kept popping in his mind about Fyre and why his body was quick to respond to all of the Omega's actions no matter how small it was.

Lastly, was Jonathan who's starting to feel concerned about his growing feelings for Fyre. There was no doubt Remi still had a huge part in his heart but he also couldn't deny what he felt earlier when Tian Zi and Fyre hugged. Truthfully, people who walked past them saw the three as if their souls had flown out of Earth.

"I'm staying in my room," Fyre said in a gloomy tone almost instantly when they finally stepped inside the condominium. Since this place has exactly three rooms and they have already been staying at the place together for days now, each of them already claimed which room was theirs.

"Me too. You can decide what's for dinner. I don't have much appetite today," Jonathan also said and just like Fyre, he too began to walk towards his room. Tian Zi, who was left behind, also walked to his own room. And just like that, the day ended without much happening.

The next day was Mo Hanlu and Ian's wedding day and as anticipated, people involved in the most awaited event were all busy except the three individuals who didn't feel like moving out of their rooms at all.

Fyre especially didn't want to move out of his bed but he still did because he has an important position in the wedding. The wedding will begin at 2 pm in the afternoon but they had to go for the gathering in the morning. So at 6 am, it's rather late but he reluctantly gets out of his bed and proceeds to take a shower. The shower only took 15 minutes so after that, he wore a simple attire for the time being since when they arrived home yesterday, they all forgot to check the clothes sent to them by Mo Hanlu. If he remembered it correctly, it should be in the living room in its expensive-looking boxes.

There were a total of three gatherings today, the morning gathering, the wedding, and the Gala in the evening, so their schedule was quite packed. There's also another family outing the next day but Fyre didn't have to concern himself with that.

After a good night's sleep last night, his mind was a little clearer now and for sure, like he had initially thought. After this wedding, he was very determined to try and avoid both Tian Zi and Jonathan for the good of his body and mental health. Unfortunately, Fyre forgot to realize that by attending the grand wedding as the bride's maid, he will soon face a life far from what he used to. Of course, he'll only realize this later when everything is too late. And he will have no choice but to further accept Mo Tian Zi and the Mo Family's protection.
