PENTHOUSE

Romeo and Annabelle were walking home, hand in hand, laughing and joking together. Annabelle looked up at Romeo with a concerned expression. "Hope Mummy's not mad, right?"

Romeo smiled reassuringly. "No, Mummy can never be mad at us. We're her favourite people in the world!"

Annabelle giggled, feeling relieved. "Yeah, you're right!"

As they approached the apartment, Romeo's smile began to fade. Something didn't feel right. He quickened his pace, Annabelle following closely behind.

As they entered the apartment, Romeo's heart sank. Luca Maranzano was sitting on the couch, playing with Adrian like they were old friends. But what caught Romeo's attention was Marie, tied up and gagged, her eyes wide with fear.
