DOWN TO THE MEMORY LANE.....

Cora sighed and started.

"When I was 5 years old my mumma died, my aunt raised me."

Ayden was staring at her.

"My mom was a Japanese, I spent my childhood in Tokyo, Japan."

"What about your father?", asked Ayden.

"I'll tell you everything just let me finish".

"When I was 16 years old my aunt sent to a High school in New York."

"So you're Japanese?", asked  Ayden.

"Japanese-American".

"So your father was American?"

Ayden noticed that as many times he asked about her father her face became gloomy and dark.

"I never knew who my father is".

Cora's eyes twinkled with tears.

"When my mother died I was a child who was merely an orphan who was abandoned by her father."

Ayden was silent.

"Before I came to New York, my aunt told me how my mother was trapped and used by that man".

She clenched her jaws and continued.

"My grandparents send both my mother and aunt to America for further studies, in the college my mother met with him."

Tears came down from her cheeks.

"He was a son of rich bussiness man and my mother belonged from not so rich family."

She wiped off her tears.

"Soon they became friends, my mother was very beautiful, soon they fall for each other, she always loved him with all her heart".

She heaved a sigh.

"His family didn't accepted their relationship neither my grandparents, so they moved in together."

Ayden didn't knew what to say to her! Or how to comfort her.

"But after some months his father fell sick, so as a only son he had to take his father's place in his family business."

"Hmm!"

"So he was so busy with his work so he seldom visited my mother, she was very innocent, she didn't knew what was coming".

Ayden held his hand tightly.

"Oneday he came without informing my mother, she was very to see him and also she had something to tell him."

She heaved a sigh of lament.

"He told her that he cannot live with her anymore because he was engaged to his father's best friend's daughter and she was pregnant with his child."

Cora couldn't hold her tears anymore.

"My mother told him that she was also pregnant with his child"

"He said that if he didn't marry his fiancee his father will abandon him, and told my mother to abort the child or take responsibility of her child alone by saying this he went off my mother's life and didn't came back to her."

Cora eyes were filled with tears and she couldn't utter a word.

Ayden pulled Cora's hand embrace her in warm hug.

He pat her head said," it doesn't matter who you are, what your past was like, I'll never leave you alone, I'm here for you till my last breath."

Cora hugged him and cried like a baby.

Ayden was patting her head and was saying that," you're a strong girl , stay strong I'm here with you always."

Cora wiped of her tears and said, "thank you Ayden".

Ayden smiled at her.

"So let get going", said Ayden .

They got back in their dorms and bid goodbyes to each other.

Ayden got in and put off his bag and started to removing his shoes.

"So how was your date?"

"Whoa ! Easy boy I just got in, and what are you doing in my bed?"

"Ou I was checking whose bed is softer, if your bed is softer we'll share bed , cause my back hurts by sleeping in that bed".

"There is no way I'll share my bed with you".

"Hey that's rude, I know I'm not pretty as Cora but I'm not that bad also".

"Cut it off Matt".

"Pretty please".

"Ugh you're a dogged one , ok I'll sleep in your bed but only for today".

"I've the best roommate ever, he is the best roommate ever"

"Please shut it down Matt, your voice even 1% closer to them".

Matthew laid on Ayden's bed and asked him, "how was your date?"

"If wah greath, yo if wah theavenly"

"Spit out the toothpaste then talk you slopping mouthed idiot".

"Oh theah! Thorry".

Ayden freshened up himself them came to his room and sat on Matthew's bed.

"Will you tell me or not, I'm all ears".

" It was great".

"Annnnndddd!?"

"She have something in her voice, in her smile, in her eyes that drives me crazy".

"You're in love boy, as your love guru I can tell that you're in love".

"Cut it out Matt".

"Someone is in love".

Ayden blushed and smiled.
