Chapter 3- A Love Blooms
Prof. Arts shouted at the group of students, "stop ogling at Zion and get ready for your next class." The students responded, "Yes, Prof" with a somewhat annoyed tone in their voices.
In the meantime, all the students looked back at Zion as they prepared for their next class. Xiao asked Shyla and Kira how popular they were in comparison to his older brother. Shyla looked at Kira and said, "I can answer that. Zack and Zion are known throughout the city because of how popular they are." Kira nodded her head in agreement. Xiao wondered, "who's their family well-known throughout the city?" Kira and Shyla stared at each other taking turns to speak and said, "We don't know, he says his family is wealthy, but that's all.". We did visit his house a couple of times. He has a lot of younger siblings. Since he's the second oldest he's in charge of taking care of his siblings. Zack is the heir to the family, but Zion only thinks of him in this city at the moment. Zack on the other hand stays with their mom because he lost his dad in the war to a demon general according to Zack. It escaped that's why Zion is strong, and Zack is stronger than Zion because he is with his mother and fiancé.
Xiao was surprised, "How young is Zack to already have a fiancé?" Kira replied to Xiao, "I think he's around 18." Xiao asked, "Then how old is Zion right now?" Kira responded, "The same age as us, Zion's 16". Xiao then immediately asked, "Does Zion" before Xiao even finished her sentence Kira immediately responded, "No, that's why I like him."
Xiao is right now confused because she's starting to like Zion, but she can't just date anyone. The problem is that Xiao's mother is picky when it comes to her lifelong partner because they can't divorce. They cannot remarry unless their partner dies. The family will not tolerate cheating, but they are greedy for gold. Since the family is in the top 10 rankings, they have a lot of very strong enemies.
After field training, everyone returned to class. It is boring for some students to take the last class of CE 1 year 1. The ranking consists of CE (Celestial), G (God), T (Transcendent), DE (Demigod), SA (Saint), S, A, B, C, D, E, F. If you do not remember the class list I understand since I am busy, so recap. The class ranks are 1-12, one being the highest and twelve being the lowest. The total school year is four years. You understand, right?
At the moment, everyone is asleep, but the teacher is kind enough to let them do so. The teacher even gives handouts to everyone so they can understand better. The bell rang and the group headed to their clubs, but Zion and Xiao were not in any clubs because they had to provide for their siblings. This is because they do not have bodyguards. There is an academy nearby that boasts very strong professors who can reach the second-highest rank of God.
Xiao and Zion proceeded to clear out his desk by putting his books and pencil case in his bag. In the locker room behind the classroom, some students had another. Xiao asked Kira, "what's in that bag?" Kira responded to Xiao, "It's for my Kendo club while proceeding to pull out the Shinai or bamboo sword." Xiao's eyes lit up because she had not seen the sword itself and was intrigued by it. Xiao then looked around and asked their group what clubs they had joined. The answers she got were paired up in the club. Meaning that Shilo and Kira are in Kendo, while Shyla and Courage are in Swimming. This is for the other friends.
They then go to their respective clubs, while Zion and Xiao go to school to pick up their siblings. They headed down to the front of the academy and followed in the same direction. Then Xiao asked Zion, "Are you following me?" Zion replied, "What made you think of that idea?" Xiao replied, "This is where my younger siblings are." Zion looked at Xiao with a confused face. He said, I too have younger siblings. Didn't Kira tell you earlier about them? One is the same age as your younger brother, and I remember you mentioned another one. Xiao looked back at Zion with a confused face because she remembered not mentioning Fol, her little sister. This was because she was too young to get attention from the public and it was for her safety according to her grandfather. Zion then turned away almost breaking a cold sweat because he got the information from his brother's right-hand man and close friend Leonhart. Xiao asked Zion, why are you sweating? Zion still looked away and said nothing. Zion does not know where Xiao lives. Her family is, on the other hand, incomplete, just like Zion's. However, she only has a grandpa while Zion has only a mom.
After walking for a few kilometers, Xiao looked behind her at the school of Zion and Xiao's younger brother. Zion noticed something unusual behind him. The feeling was that someone was watching him from afar. Zion then teleported behind those two people and said, "Who are you?" in an intimidating voice but they were not impressed and pulled out weapons and said, "We were here to keep an eye on our young Miss." Zion responded with, "I will leave you be, I am in charge of her in school and out of school. I thought you guys were assassins because of your high cloak abilities Alma and Alco." They responded with, "you remember us." Zion looked at them with confidence and replied, "Not too much but my brother does." His name is Zack or Jarbjorn. I do not know why he picked that name." The siblings quickly put away their weapons as they know who Zack is. They respect him because of his help. Their mother and father are still alive." Zion said to them, do not worry. I may be weaker than my brother but I have more potential than he has. A popular phrase read-out disappeared like the wind in Zions' head. "It must have been the wind" (Skyrim).
Zion effortlessly teleported back behind Xiao. Xiao then looked back and said to Zion, "Where did you come from?" I looked up earlier, and you weren't there." Zion replied to Xiao, "when you took that corner heading to school, I was tying my shoes. Why are you worried about me?" Xiao blushed and turned around to face the front and started walking. Zion noticed her ears were red from blushing. He remembered, however, that he also had a lot of enemies due to their clan ranking being second, but at least their primary clan is far from it.
Stop covering your face, you look pretty anyway, Zion said to Xiao. While Zion blushes because he can't believe that he said those words. Zion thinks to himself, "is this what my brother feels about his fiancé? His getting more and more fond of Xiao but it's still too early for that.
