Chapter 52

Alex POV

I woke up and checked the time. It was already 5 in the evening and my wife was still sleeping. I booked some dishes and soon the room attendant came with the dishes. She kept them on the table before leaving.

I gently lay back on the bed and was caressing her face. I saw her moving and I whispered to her ear you have to wake up it's pass the time to stay with me or else your dad would kill me.

He won't let me sleep some more Alex she said turning her to back.

I just ordered some food so let's eat l said carrying her up and I took her in my hands. She wrapped her hands around my neck and I stood up. I went to where the food was kept and put her to sit on the couch while sat at the other one.

I opened the plate used to cover the dishes and saw Coq au Vin a classic French dish which combines braised chicken with red wine, mushrooms, onions, bacon, and aromatic herb, a meat fillet with truffle crust and red wine reduction and a wine which was kept in a bucket filled with ice.

We started eating and l opened the wine and poured it on the two glass cups there. I gave her one of it which she took and took a sip of it. After that no one talked nor did we say anything to each other. We eat silently and when we were done l said let me take you home.

No talking. That's my final say. Stand up and let's go l said.

She didn't say anything after that and we left the hotel. We decided to walk since her house wasn't far from the hotel. I put on a mask and some dark glasses. While we were walking, She was at the front while I was at the back walking.

I didn't want to walk with her together because I wasn't someone who talk much and staying or moving with a lady you got to get some humor or be a good conversationist. I wasn't ready to do that not now this evening. 

Lydian POV

I had arrived at flake town this afternoon and went straight to that bitch house but was told she wasn't at home. Guess what I waited because I was going to show her who's in charge here. It's 7:30 and this girl is not back. Where did she even go to? 

My Lamborghini was packed some distance away from the gate and I was in the lambo waiting for her. I was going to cause some trouble for that stupid girl. 

Jenny POV

I couldn't believe he decided to walk behind my back. We were suppose to walk together like a couple that's what I had expect to happen but it was clearly the opposite. I saw a Lamborghini packed in front of my gate.

That car seems familiar like have seen it before somewhere. When I got closer the person came out of the car and Alex called my name so l looked at him. 

Don't take another step forward he said. Before I could say something he pulled me to him and held the charging slap coming to me. I looked at the person and saw it was Lydian. 

Oh no l thought. 

Her eyes were filled with rage, ready to kill someone which was me of course. I can't believe karma came after me. I have to face it now.
