Sophia clutched the handkerchief tightly, her expression shifting from somber to angry.
After a while, she slowly said, "I thought he appeared by coincidence..."
Ethan frowned, "Who are you talking about?"
"Mr. Silver," Sophia replied.
Ethan raised an eyebrow; this answer slightly surprised him.
Mr. Silver, again.
"What happened after you met him?" Ethan asked.
"Earlier today, after attending the signing ceremony at M Hotel, I ran into Mr. Silver on my way out. He invited me for a cup of tea, which I initially declined. However, he mentioned wanting to do business with the West family..." Sophia frowned as she spoke.
"So, you agreed?" Ethan asked.
"No," Sophia shook her head, "My grandfather warned me to stay away from Mr. Silver but not to anger him either. I didn't want to refuse him outright, so while I didn't drink the tea, I did sit down and talk with him for about five minutes."
