Chapter 20

The next day my old helper Jolene came over to my place and helped me take care of Lumine and Chris so the rest of us can focus on me resting and then tracking down Damien and what's his next move. Of course my dad doesn't know about Damien whereabouts or what I am doing in my office . The rest of us were always in the office looking through tons of CCTV footage of them leaving their penthouse and to Hong Kong or the casino but nothing sketchy about it .

I was even pumping and watching at the same time, so all of us would rotate and watch if anything funny happens we can pinpoint straight away .

"Boss you should rest " Draken said and place a cup of tea in front of me

"This is resting what are you talking about ? "

"Uhm , your pumping and watching CCTV and playing your phone that is not resting" Charlie replied

The door was slightly open and it was Jolene

"Ms Stella , are the milk packets you pumped out yesterday in the freezer? " Jolene asked

"Ah yes , bottom drawer uhm why? Is the kids mini fridge empty? "

"Yes , no worries I will just shift from the kitchen freezer to the Kids fridge " Jolene said.

"Thank you. "

I went back to looking at the CCTV clips and pumping more milk. I think I fell asleep somehow and felt someone removed my pumps and carried me back to bed to rest and fell into a deep sleep after that . . .

I woke up to the sound of the whole house being a wreckage and quickly dashed out to see the boys fighting over the kids and i stood there with my arms crossed and tapping my foot they saw me standing outside my room and quickly stood up and scratched the back of their heads , i walked over and smack them on the head each and told them to be quiet and went back up to the Office to see the progress . i took a glance at the clock and it was already 9pm geezus i haven't eaten anything

All of a sudden a plate of rice filled with Meat , and vegetables and fruits on the side and a bowl of soup was placed in front of me it was Baji , he gave me a gentle smile and sat opposite me and watched the CCTV as well

"Thank you Baji . "

He nodded his head and continued to watch the movements.

After hour and hours of watching i finally went to bed at 3am and Rin , Shane and Charlie took over while the others especially me went to bed .

"Baji carry me im tired "

"I have no strength too my butt hurts Boss " Baji cried

"Wuss " Draken mocked and piggybacked me to my room leaving Baji there to slowly walk back to the room

"Thank you Draken " i said and tucked me into bed and i just fell asleep like that

Flashback Dreams ~~~

I walked along the bright lights to find myself back in Taiwan again , but this time I wasn't rushing anywhere; rather , I was at the place for the shoot . uh where am i tho ? I'm still in my sweatshirt and sweatpants. That's weird , I should be in my suit by now .

I quickly walked out and heard someone talking.

"Ethan , Is Ms Wong in the changing room ? " That sounded like Damien

"Yes she is changing now i assume" Ethan replied

"Good, later i will bump into her and make sure she will in love with me and i'll be like her little puppy , love her and be a little dog that follows here everywhere" Damien said

"Are you sure that is what you are going to do, Damien Sir? " Ethan clarified again .

"Ethan , Ethan , Ethan , women will definitely fall in love with such a handsome guy like myself, no matter how long it takes I will definitely make sure Stella will do the same and I will strip the company from top to bottom and make sure she begs me to save her company in years to come. Have you planted a mole in her company ? like I asked you too ?" Damien said

"Yes but he got rejected and she too " Ethan replied and lowered his head

"I don't care how many people apply i need to make sure i get inside scopes as well " Damien said sternly

"Yes sir " Ethan said and left.

Ohhh so that's why …. Great, I need to run ! If not, he will see me !

But who is the mole that was hired by Damien to be hired by me to stay in my company …. But I didn't hire anyone lately or 9 months before that, even years before that… I didn't even remember hiring anyone… maybe it's the cleaners side that was hiring people… or the front desk? But … hmmm ?

I woke up to the sound of Lumine screaming and boy I was damn alert I rushed over to see Jolene already handling it so i went to pick up Chris and cradled him in my arms and sat on the chair beside his cot …

Lumine knocked out pretty easily and was placed back in her cot after being fed and thank goodness just in time Chris woke up too and this time i fed them since i haven't done it in like 2 days myself sigh… then i realise , Damien's stuff are still with me and the suit maybe there is a tracker or some sort of device attached to it if not why would he spend so much on a suit for me when he knows i have loads of it when i only wear like 3 of them during corporate events i handed Chris over to Jolene and rushed back to drag Draken , Baji and Charlie out of their room even went to the office to drag the other 2 guys down to my room , i know it's 7am in the morning but why didn't i think of this earlier!

Everyone then came into my room and i opened up the walk in closet and dragged out all of Damien's stuff and the suit he bought for me

"What's the matter ? Why are you bringing out your Ex's boyfriend stuff? " Baji said while rubbing his eyes

"Why didn't I think of this earlier! , they might know what we are up to because Damien bugged his own stuff! "

It made sense why Damien would always leave his stuff over my place and fly back to the states and not wanting it back until he comes over for another visit.

"That is a possibility but we are looking at everything he has left over for you and what his parents gave you … " Shane yawns

"I know it's 7am in the morning but maybe aren't making a move is because they are watching us while we are watching them , if we can find the bug no issue, let's start searching i'll close the curtains and lights so we can find anything suspicious "

I went to close the curtains and the lights only leaving the walk in wardrobe lights on and everyone started digging through the mess and found a few of Damien Watches had a red light very consistent , followed by his wallet and the suit he bought for me before he "Died" has a button and a camera in it .

"The fuck he could have seen me naked!"

"Uh boss, didn't he already see you naked?" Rin replied

"SHUUUT UPP!"

"Well that is a lot of bugging devices he has. " Draken pointed it out and we counted 5 of his watches , 1 in the wallet , 2 in the suit he gave me…

"What about the car ?"

" We found 4 in the car , " Charlie replied.

"Okay , let's burn everything. "

Their eyes widened and were shocked at what I just said.

" I'm not kidding, let's go , Draken , drive that bloody Mercedes and the rest of us pack up the stuff and put it in the van . "

Everyone quickly hustled and I handed the keys over to Draken which that car carried Draken and Shane , Charlie was driving the van for now i handed him the location and Draken just followed behind .

We drove to an abandoned field near the coast where everything in the Mercedes poured loads of gasoline on everything, even the bugging devices and set everything on fire BOM BOM BOM!

Everything started flying everywhere , everyone then got into the van and drove far far away. Hopefully what I did was right and when we arrived back home just nice it was time for breakfast , so we quickly ate breakfast and went to the home office to continue looking through the CCTV footage.

Later in the afternoon , my dad came over to look after Lumine and Chris while the rest of us acted like we were fine but we were just very tired from looking at their reaction …

"Madam, you should rest , you haven't stop pumping since just now " Baji said

"Im Fine Baji , besides we need to see what they are up to and this might take awhile, Rin Shane any updates ? "

"From what I understand they are doing nothing at the moment . but we should not let our guard down at this moment of course. Furthermore they could be planning something big over the next coming days" Rin said .

"Okay, it seems like things are under control at the moment, why not all of us just take a break , but be on alert if anything suspicious comes up. Charlie please dig up records in my office for people we have hired over the past couple of years and any names ring a bell just bring it back to me Shane and Rin can help you with that . "

After I said that, Draken carried me back to my room and helped me get on the bed and dragged a chair and placed it beside the bed he sat on while Baji stood behind.

"Madam , are you alright? " Draken asked

I just nodded my head and started coughing .

"Mam if it's any case we could handle the case from here you just need to rest " Baji suggested

"No, I'm fine (Coughs) . I'm just down with a common cold. I'll get better in a few days . "

"Do you want us to do anything while you are resting? " Draken questioned

"Just help me look after Chris and Lumine. They might miss me but I certainly cannot get them sick at this young age. "

I just took the medication from my drawer and swallowed it down with some water and laid myself down to sleep and rest while Baji and Draken quietly went off to do their things. From what I see Baji and Draken are the most helpful and caring towards my well being, especially Baji .

Does he like me? No … Come on, I'm his boss how can that even happen besides after Damien supposedly died how am i going to react to another man in my life … argh this is all too much to handle what are this feelings when i'm alone with Baji , it isn't normal and it feels like fireworks all over again …

Clearly remember that time when Baji accompanied me to the Gyne and Dr . Dawn thought Baji was the new father to my kids but sadly mistaken of course we all had a good laugh that day sigh….. Do not remember much after falling asleep but when i woke up Baji came in with a tray of food and lovely it was Congee and some warm tea

I was trying to get up slowly. Baji quickly placed the food down on the bed side table and rushed over to me and helped me adjust my pillow and sit up straight , followed by dragging the chair and hand feeding me a spoon full of congee to me . I looked at him and he would always look away not wanting to make eye contact and there will always be a red flush not so obvious but i can tell it's there alright.

Before he could feed me another spoon i held on to his hand and grabbed his chin and made sure he looked at me dead in the eye , i place my lips over the spoon before putting the spoon in my mouth and eating it all his face flushed bright red and i guess he sorta panicked . and handed me the cup of tea.

"Baji . "

"Yes Mam" Baji replied

"Do you like me?"

"As a boss yes" He replied

"No, I mean like romantically?"

Silence ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

His face began to flush red again without even knowing what I was doing. I managed to find the remaining strength to carry the tray of food and place it on my bedside table and pulled him to my lap, making it more awkward for him .

''Well, are you going to answer me? "

"You are my boss and I can't have a romantic relationship with my Boss . ``Baji replied .

"But that's not what your eyes are telling me "

I leaned in close enough to his face and placed my forehead against his with my eyes closed. I can hear his heart beating super fast and loud and yet he doesn't want to admit it.

"Your heart is telling me another thing as well Baji "

Not saying a word I leaned in and kissed him on the lips for a good few mins before letting go and looking at him all red like a tomato , He suddenly coughed slightly and told me he will bring the dishes back down to the kitchen and bring some more water for me and ran off.

Hmm … did I overdo it? I swore that feeling i had in my chest was real felt like fireworks
