Chapter :-27 A Glimpse of Past (Part-5)

"John Wick, the boogeyman is back huh.....though its not like i didn't except something like this to happen. I heard about your wife ,my condolences....." said a man wearing red jacket, black jeans and black shirt. He had a well defined body similar to an athlete ,his had a smile on his face while his palm rested in his pocket.

"It's good to see you too Shinki...." replied John in a hoarse voice, he wore gray shirt and blue overcoat along with grey jeans and brown boots. His hair hanged from the sides while his scar-full face had a light smile.

"So you are back in the game i guess after all you are planning to kill 'his' son, by now probably the whole world would have got the information that you, my friend are back in this game....." said Luo Shinki ,his left hand grasped the railing of the river-side ,they were standing on.

"He killed my dog and stole my car....that dog was my only light left in this world after my wife died and that son of a bitch killed my light.....once i have killed him i will go back to the peaceful life i was living." he hoarse voice did help him in getting the talk to be understood by everyone.

"Hahahahahah.....years ago when you wanted to quit, i did say that you wouldn't be able to leave this life ,it will eventually come back to you and you would eventually come back in this field. That time you shrugged my warning off without any care but now i hope you do realize that what the said on that day was indeed the truth." said Shinki with an amused expression on his face.

"John lives in a world where there is no humility. No compassion. And certainly no mercy."

"And its name is Baba Yaga." said Shinki as he straightened his color, he extended his right hand towards John's shoulder and gave him a pat saying that he didn't choose this life, it chose you instead. So you can't run from it, not forever at least.

"We apologize for the uninvited visit of Miss Perkins. No business can be conducted on the Hotel premises, including fighting and carrying out contracts on other assassins in the hotel; Ms. Perkins broke this rule, which will cause her to incur heavy penalties from the establishment including the revocation of her membership as well as her own death."

"The [Continental Hotel] has its own rules. She broke the rules, i will claim her life for that. Remember John whatever you do don't break the rules. The [Collector] will claim lives if that were to happen." saying so he disappeared from John's view, leaving him alone at the river side.

"The [Collector] of the [Continental] huh....."

Blood........

The red color have become an everyday thing for me. They say people do change and when they do they also change their destiny. Neither John nor I managed to escape our fate. He wanted a peaceful life but instead was chased by the whole world whereas i fell in love.

I used to think that if John didn't marry Helen, would he still would have been an assassin. Would he still would have been struck in that mud. What about me, if i didn't meet 'her' would i have still been working as the executioner of the [Continental]. Sometime i think that if i would have been given a second change would i have still fallen in love with her???? Would she ,once again be the reason for my smile???? The reason for my guilt and pain??? The reason for my hard work and desire to return.

I don't know about anything else but i do know that i would have loved her even if i would have been given a 1000 chance to chose different. Now here i stand on the mountain of corpses, if killing some people would help me achieve my wish, if it could help me meet her even if a single time, i would gladly lay down a mountain of corpse for a chance.

People may consider me a monster, but i only know one thing, this world is full of hypocrites. Looting someone, trampling their dignity, raping their mother, sister ,killing their future is much more cruel in my eyes where my killing is the release of the soul.

These people wanted to blow up the wall, something which would make it harder and longer to fulfill the goal, the one thing Roland and Azik had been pouring their mind to accomplish. Unacceptable.....dead is the final destination.

"Master let's return after all the work in done, for which we came here to finish. The place no longer require our presence." said Cynthia standing beside the armored Kite.
